Demos are on US spotify too.

Everyone freaking about alternate Basket Case is right too. Wildly different.

I wonder if the box set is going to feature the original unedited cover with the Ernie puppet on the back. I’m sure they would’ve had to get permission from Sesame Street this time

The color vinyl looks nice, glad they went for a brown motif, although I still think the 2020 Barnes and Noble brown Dookie vinyl looks better. Regardless, I’ll be picking that up as soon as I can.

The In the End demo is a lot of fun, I’m glad they included that here.

This makes me wonder if when they do the inevitable AI anniversary box, if they'll include a BIAB 2xLP. That's been out of print for ages.

Chad move would be to release AI, Demos, Milton Keynes, and C&V, but I am not holding my breath

Some C&V demos and an early 04 live show when they played the whole AI

Yeah the alternate Basket Case lyrics are something else and makes me wonder when these 4-track demos are from. When they played Gilman in mid November of 1992 the lyrics were as we know them and they’re the same in December 1992 for the Art of Ears demos. So were the 4-track demos earlier in 1992? @Todd, your expertise is needed!

I like the "In The End" demo more than the album version. That stripped down, calm presentation of the song is a lot more fitting to the lyrics and the dual vocals.

I also love how When It's Time has been around FOREVER. Wasn't it played live in 1992 or something?

According to setlist.fm, first known performance is 11/18/92 at Gilman.
