Popular Post HAPPY ZOMBIE UNICORN
I don’t get all the hate for this video, would you have preferred a static image or a loop like the Holy Toledo one? It’s not a music video, it’s a visualizer to accompany the song release on YouTube.
Popular Post pacejunkie punk
I think they Hey-Ohs and Bada Bings are gonna be great live. I feel like those were the lines written for us to song along to and that’ll be really fun

I know!’ 🙃🤦🏻♂️🤦♀️ Personally I was never sure it was a FOAM outtake but definitely knew it was Walker's production style on the leak - and surprise surprise Butch Walker is credited on this song so take that as you will

killjoywhatsername
I think I listened to the leak once when it was leaked so I don’t remember much of it but I do dig this song. I got to give Look Ma, No Brains some more listens but if I had to rate them that’s probably below this. I’m still loving everything out of this cycle. Way better than the FOAM era.
The Grohl
I'll have to listen to it more but first impression? I like it better than the leaked version. Not sure why but it sounds better to me. The hook hits harder with me this time. Before I thought it was kind of lame but it works with this mix. I'm not sure if the guitars are heavier? I remember the leak sounding much more like So What but I could be wrong. Overall a fine song! And I like the visualizer. Love the inclusion of Steamboat Willie. He's ready to start some shit!

I think Butch Walker is credited on all the other Savior tracks so far as well on Tidal. But on Apple Music he is not credited for any song. Hopefully we find out someday which role he played for Saviors!

Popular Post aydge89
This sounds like a @That Dude song if I've ever heard one! Can totally picture him at a dive bar at closing time chanting at the top of his lungs "REVENGE IS SWEETER THAN WINE!!!!!" before the bartender swiftly escorts him out 2
Verycool99
It’s probably just my preference but I really miss the heavy toms in this mix? And the vocals at the “I never asked…” line don’t sound as rough.

Haha. Dude songs are defined as Green Day songs that Dude finds to be bangers while others may find them mid-to-terrible. So yeah, I think this is one. I'll just go ahead and say it because nobody has said it yet - this is the greatest song ever recorded in all of human history, and probably lizard people history as well. heeeeeey oh, the bartenders louder - he says "you Green Day b!tch you better call lawyer"

dirnt286
I thought this song was going to suck based on the reception of the leaked version (which I never listened to) but I am enjoying it quite a bit. - I like the production: upfront vocals, huge guitar. Sounds like Saviors sessions. - I like the “throwaway chorus” approach, very similar to The Replacements “IOU”. - I like the pre-chorus melody, similar to Iggy Pop’s “Passenger”. - I like the outro guitar licks and drum rolls, sounds very very similar to the intro of The Smiths “What She Said” from Meat is Murder (seriously, go listen, it is uncanny.) My ranking so far remains: 1. American Dream 2. Dilemma 3. Look Ma 4. ONE eyed Bastard Edited January 5 by dirnt286
ekim
I don't hate one eyed bastard but I've had the song since may would've been better to release father to a son btw pink didn't write so what a pop writer named max martin did and the actual riff was just a session guitarist
Popular Post DookieLukie
I’m glad they released a song we already knew because I’d like to save SOME of this record for release day lol
Popular Post DeJennsitized
To be honest I still don’t really get the comparison to So What. Sure, the riff goes down the scale in a similar way but the guitar notes are different. I’d never have picked up on anything if people hadn’t mentioned it. And I was a huge fan of that song when it came out!
Sanity Loan
This one is, so far, the most fun to play on guitar from Saviors.
