One album facing another (for example Nimord Vs. Insomniac) and the winner advances, at the end we will have a winner. I assume the criteria for the knockout will be a straight vote, with the album with most votes progressing. What happens if you have a tie? So you could have the scenario of a semi-final face off of, Kerplunk versus American Idiot. 21st CB versus Dookie. An American Idiot v. Dookie final possibly.
