Green Day owned 39/Smooth and Kerplunk long before their 25th anniversary’s

the main issue with those albums are the master tapes are said to be in rough state and also escp for 39 I doubt there’s any extra studio tracks left over for 39 due to the lack of money  Kerplunk had a little bit more of a budget so that album may have a few extra songs left over maybe

There's a little thing that you are missing. The nimrod and insomniac bundle are handled by Warner, and they aren't owned by the band. Maybe they had some input in chosing this or that, but the main driver is the label.

Is not like the first two records where the band has all the control they want, but at the same time they were under and didn't have much resources at the time, so making a bundle like the nimrod one would be a nightmare to them to make.

Probably a lot of them.  The other instance of this was during the Trilogy with the "I'm not playing with your heart" line.

Wait, which one?

The difference between the NGFL demo and the final version showed me the potential that the trilogy had

It's almost like it's the other way around with the Trilogy. Some of the songs on Demolicious sound better than the final Trilogy versions

You Irritate Me is just like the other demos with just a first verse repeated. Because it didn’t make the album, I guess Billie never bothered to finish the lyrics. I wonder what the completed version would have sounded like

Why would it be a nightmare to them to make if they wanted to do something with 39 and Kerplunk? They have the resources and the money to do so…

Which is why Billie was seen in ¡CUATRO! saying, "I'll never go into the recording studio without lyrics ever again!"

For anyone wondering: Both the silver and black vinyl boxes are numbered. My black box has 21227, the silver one hasn't arrived yet.

Might rank the demos as well.  The important thing is to spread the hatred of Haushinka because she is so awful.  At least she is far away.  😄

Or if you're Oasis that's just called a regular song.

I ranked the demos.    Espionage comes in last because there isn't enough difference from the the demo to final song.  and Tre Polka?  It's the biggest disappointment.   I wanted Tre Cool rapping about red velvet walls or squatters in his flat, gosh poop it!

1.       Black Eye Liner

2.       Alison

3.       When It’s Time

4.       Chain Saw

5.       Place Inside My Head

6.       You Irritate ME

7.        Desensitized

8.        The Grouch

9.       Jinx

10.   Walking Alone

11.    Reject

12.   Nice Guys Finish Last

13.    Tre Polka

14.    Espoinage

It's interesting that the singing gets more simplified on the final product, the best example being the Nice Guys Finish Last demo...

But seeing how you guys reacted to the Father of All falsettos, it's not wonder Billie sticks to the simple singing when he could be doing much more.

:)
