Lol I love Teenage Teenager

It's literally my least favourite Green Day song ever. I seriously despise that track

Can anyone explain the line in You Irritate me that goes “Like a dick on a dog stick gnawing at my veins”

Someone said they think the line is “like a tick on a dog’s dick…” and that makes more sense (even though ew) He uses the dog analogy a lot : “time drags when you work like a dog”, “like a dog that just pissed on your bbq”, etc

I mean that makes sense...I imagine a tick on a dog's dick is quite irritating!

Hopefully the shirt I want doesn’t sell out soon, the bank account wouldn’t allow me to  buy the box set and a shirt all at once lol

Considering they're making more of a deal with Nimrod than they did with Dookie, I hope that means that Warning will get a lot of love too. If there is a lot of extra material out there, that album is so loved now by fans I think it will be much appreciated.

I was thinking maybe they'd do, like I said, something extra special for Dookie's 30th

I think they didn't release something on Dookie besides the Woodstock lp (if it counts on something) is because they know there are a lot of stuff out already in bootleg form and they don't have nothing "exclusive" to make profit.

In the same way, I wish they had the vision to see that they have a lot of promotion material ready to sell but something stops them to do it so. I mean, the jannus landing 94 is ready, barcelona 94 is ready, they had the chicago show sleeping for years. Woodstock video is a nightmare of licensing but is there too.

If exclusivity is the mark to release or not release, they are losing a lot because there's nothing greater than a package with goodies inside to celebrate a record. This new comp sets the bar really high for the next one. I know they can do something even bigger with Warning if we get there...

At least now we have something in a good level. I just can't wait to hear those demos

Wasn't All By Myself recorded at a party or something? I wonder if they have more recordings from that party

I'm counting the days particularly for cd disc 3, live at the Electric Factory, 20 songs. As far as I can see, although it says full concert on uTube, there's only 17mins?

Green Day live, heaven on fuckin earth, orgasmic. 🤑

I’m hoping this will have been sound a little better than this leak for earlier in the year.

I'm sure your right, it's a little slow as compared to when he sang it with Elvis Costello at Decades of Rock Concert back in 2005

I'm really happy we're getting this relatively soon. It felt like we waited FOREVER for the Insomniac vinyl. I can deal with waiting 3 months at this point.

I don't mind it being slow, it just sounds like it needs cleaned up to me.

It kinda bothers me though that the release date for the album is in 2023 instead of 2022 when Nimrod was released in 1997. Just like how Insomniac's release was in 2021 instead of 2020. Like is it even still a 25th anniversary edition if it's not released 25 years after the album's initial release. Like for the Insomniac anniversary edition, ok but you'd think if they were going to do this for more albums that they'd plan it out better so that the new edition of the album comes out on the same day as the album's anniversary or at least the same year

The leak came from a vinyl and the guy who transferred it didn’t really know how to do so in the greatest way that’s why the quality isn’t the best

He uses the dog analogy 17 times in total.   Not one of his most frequent buzzwords, but in his top 50 for sure.  It's actually his 42nd most used word, right between Dawn (41) and Loser (43rd).

Not kidding.

If anyone's snatched my fan card lately, I think you can pass it back now.  :)

The CD preorder is on sale on Amazon for $41. You are not charged until it ships.

If the price goes lower than $41 anytime before the release date, Amazon automatically changes your preorder to the lowest price.

I'm gonna pre-order itt on Sunday.

This is the best deal for a special edition that I've ever seen, and of course Amazon is the best e-commerce seller

Omg now it’s only costing me $20 with my credit card points 😄 I can’t believe the vinyl set is so much more expensive. I get that it would be more but over three times more?

I wonder if the number of pre-orders is what allows Amazon to lower the price. You would think scarcity would make a price go higher but also bulk volume sales means a product can sell for less. So is this an indication the presales are selling well?
