Setlistfm says Paper Lanterns was on the written setlist but wasn't played ☹️

Maybe we’re slow to catch on but I’m starting to think they add those songs as a joke to mess with the diehards because they know we’ll see the setlist

Again the boring HM setlist. I don't get it. They come all the long way to South America and don't treat the local fans with a rare setlist.

We’ll know for sure if the next song to be on the set list and not played is something like ‘409 in your coffeemaker’ or homecoming’ 😂😂

Do you think Dreamcatcher would give away the game? 😄

Okay, I was nice about the last show but gosh dang, Green Day. Think about the rich, rich fans who are front row center at every show in the world.

Not that they are bored with your setlist, noooo.  But whoever they are....they can now perform your show with their hands tied behind their back.

They could hit the road as Green Day 2.0 and everyone will go see those rich weirdos instead of you because they might switch it up every 1000 shows or something.

I'm going to go see if Viagra Boys or Highly Suspect have really cool message boards like this one.   And if they do.....

Well...

I'll become obsessed with them.

I guess I should see if they play the same show every night for 20 years in a row first.

But gosh darn it, Green Day.  I known it a huge production and things are timed and Yada Yada, but there's room for audibles.

For these sucky setlists, I demand the next audible be a  Know One Knows  / Jerry Caldwells Pool Party / Kill the DJ medley.

And bring back the Midwest medley too, but add Southern Girls to it.

:)

Kidding, kidding.

But if we get 1972 and they don't perform any songs from it, I'ma actually email Billie and ask what the deal is.

If that happens I think we'll all sign off on that email

A petition.   We need to send Green Day a petition for certain songs live.  I get that they are getting older and a 30 song show is brutal.   I also understand they have to play Longview and Basketcase or the universe will implode into itself or something.

But gosh darn it, throw in something special.   Who knows, a deep cut could be all that someone in the crowd needs to suddenly get into the band.   Maybe they hate what they've heard out in the world and deep cut from Rev Rad or FOAM could just blow their mind.

It could be something as simple as "No One Knows" as part of a closing medley.    Maybe "Poprocks and Coke".    Oh and actually play "Song of the Century" because tape doesn't count.

"Panic Song" or "Westbound Sign" near the middle when a crowd is going crazier than usual.

Deadbeat Holiday near the back end of a show.

Alas, I know they'll never do any Shenanigans live again, which hurts.    It's potentially their best material!  I said what I said.

I could go on about ALL the stuff they never play,   but back to the point.

Throw in two or three fan favorites after you play Basketcase for the 99999999999999999 time.     Please.

I am not a realistic person by any stretch of the imagination.    What a weird sentence.    Anyway, I've crafted a setlist that looks like something the band would actually play, if they didn't hate everything they've done for the last 12 years for some reason.     It's still singles out the wazoo, but fans would FREAK at the self titled song and I think Meet Me on the Roof would send the crowd in hysterics.    There really is no better music than FOAM music.    Check it out:

1.       American Idiot

2.       Holiday

3.       Know Your Enemy

4.       Boulevard of Broken Dreams

5.       Stray Heart

6.       X-Kid

7.       Longview

8.       Green Day

9.       Welcome to Paradise

10.   Hithcin a Ride

11.   Walking Contradiction

12.   When I Come Around

13.   Oh Love

14.   Waiting

15.   21 Guns

16.   Minority

17.   Meet Me On The Roof

18.   Basketcase

19.   She

20.   King For A Day

21.   BANG BANG

22.   Jesus of Suburbia

23.   Good Riddance

Oh man that’s a show I want. Perfect balance, though I know some people might want more 90’s deep tracks. I’m with you I want the Trilogy and RevRad back (and just a little from FOAM)

Here's some of rarest or never played 90's stuff.    I think any of these would make a good chunk of the audience very happy.

"no one knows"

"panic song"

"westbound sign"

"rest"

"judge's daughter"

"android"

"tightwad hill"

"babs uvula who"

"why do you want him"

"the one I want"
