I'm still thinking about this. So this time it was six people. Next time a dozen could show up and the time after that two dozen. Where do you draw the line? What about the people that already had tickets? Or is this all just some elaborate story for social media?

Excited for this show too. I'm surprised how late it's starting (not that I mind, since it's only 8pm here in west coast lol), just seems like a late show. Hopefully there will be some good videos of it!

Yeah I don’t know what to believe.

From what I see on Instagram it’s some of the same people who seem to be front and center at literally every show I go to. Like, I get that the venue thought they were doing a nice thing (if it did happen) but it gets old after a while. The fan base can really ruin the concert experience. Shows are all about proving who’s the biggest superfan and trying to get the band’s attention.

Last show I went to a girl shoved me aside even though I got to the barrier before her and declared “I was here at 5am!!!” like the spot had her name on it. Well, that’s your own stupid fault.

Thanks. I was super pissed because it was the Columbus show — that’s my turf, don’t come in and act like you own the place!  I knew the gate situation at the venue would make it pointless to line up because there would be too many entrances. We just got lucky and picked the quickest one! Just shows how lining up doesn’t always pay off.

There's so many entitled fans in this fanbase, it drives me absolutely nuts. I don't give a shit how many times you've seen them live, you're not more important than anyone else.  If this is going to become a common trend there's clearly no point to lining up anymore (not that I plan to do it anymore in the first place - waste of time).

It does disappoint me that it seems like unless you dedicate like 48 hours to going to a show, these super fans will always beat everyone out.

I never got to experience an intimate Green Day show before. Admittedly, I have been to 5 of their concerts since I became a fan, but those were all in large arenas where I don't feel like I am taking the opportunity away from others to see the band. 

I don't want to sound entitled here. I know that we all would want to see Green Day whenever we can, but I do feel like if you have seen a band like GD front and center in many of these small shows, maybe give some other people a chance. It seems like such a magical experience, and I do hope I can experience it someday.

Also, does anyone remember Billie addressing these kinds of fans who are always front row at the small shows? I think he said it during a Longshot/Coverups show.
