No doubt it will be nuts, like a big festival atmosphere. We have downtown shuttle tickets because it seemed like an easier in and out than trying to get a rideshare from where they make you go for that (at a nearby high school late at night, and then you still need a shuttle from the grounds). pouty bitch Posted October 21, 2022 Share Posted October 21, 2022 Yeh when I went to my first race earlier this year it took a whole hour to get from my seat out of the actual venue, and then an extra half hour just to get back to my coach (and that was one with no gigs on so no extra people coming just for the bands). These things are usually really badly organised in terms of managing the crowds both inside and outside of the grounds but you've just gotta be really really patient and remember that seeing your fave band in this kind of environment is likely a once in a lifetime opportunity (and not even that for a lot of people) so it'll be worth it in the end. 1 Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

Don't know if that's possible today? Different thing entirely with F1. Rideshare isn’t allowed near the venue there’s a remote dropoff location and shuttle. I'm assuming it shouldn't be as bad in most other places, might still take a little while though. Also I don't know how they do it at this one but when I went they had different roads blocked off when I went in than they did when I came out so even outside of the venue it was difficult to get around/out as we couldn't go the way we knew. Just make sure you know where to get the shuttle from and how to get to it beforehand so you don't have to think about it when you get out incase things have been changed.
