I do get the feeling that plans have perhaps changed a little bit, whether that's because the state of the world or other reasons. But I don't think they'll hold it over until after the tour. I think everyone got convinced with theories that something must be happening the very next day with every teaser, but if we just take a step back it’s a cool project that’s clearly coming in the next few months, and I’m sure there will be some promo and lessons learned from FOAM employed 8 Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

HOWEVER, the way that almost every teaser includes something about 1972, it made it seem like it was well beyond them just "working on new stuff." Today was the first official announcement, but prior to that they've been giving detailed information about this project in interviews and on River's website and discord server for a long time now. For months fans have known track numbers, song titles, producer info, projected release dates, music styles of each EP... quite a lot of detail. (Rivers even answered my tweet directly asking about the number of tracks on each EP).
