That Dude Posted February 17, 2022 Share Posted February 17, 2022 It's about time for a third greatest hits Sure, we only have 8 singles since the last one, but that's where the new songs come in. Matchbox 20 did a greatest hits/new songs EP, so it's not a totally wacko that dude idea. The FOAM and stand alone singles would be tracks 1-8, and then tracks 9-14 would be totally new, bonkers crazy Green Day songs. Some people would say the new songs sound very Networkesque, but not MANY people. Oh and I'm listening to this Green Day podcast called Redundant and the guys had a different spin on combining the trilogy into one album. Not the best songs necessarily but just all the singles or would be singles. I just typed that up and eeeeh, I prefer the deep cuts when it comes to Trilogy. It would have certainly given us more greatest hits material, but eh. 1. Oh Love 2. Kill the DJ 3. Let Yourself Go 4. Stray Heart 5. Amy 6. Stop When The Red Lights Flash 7.
