Imagine another song like bang bang. I know we're talking about 1981 or One Eyed Bastard but imagine a fucking banger like the one we had in 2017. Holy shit I still remember where I was.

The studio version of 1981 already sounds like it's going to be heavier than the live one we saw

Your right. The thing with the instrumental teases, you of course have no idea what it will really sound like until you add vocals.

Listening to this again, I'm singing along with the lyrics to 1981. It sounds really cool. The song that is, not my singing, lol.

I'll stick my neck out and wager 1981 will be the first single from new album.

In my post I talk about the embedded google tag manager js. Not the html. This: https://www.googletagmanager.com/gtag/js?id=G-DJETWC9QK6

G-DJETWC9QK6 is the Google tag id of this website which you can see also in the HTML code. If you right click on the website, inspect the page and go under network you’ll see the website calling that js file.

When September ends = When October starts. They literally just mean the same thing

30th september 11:59pm would be the exact time to say "when september ends" 😂

(oakland timezone ofc)

I know its not gonna happen, but it would be such an amazing fanservice if we get the first single with tourdates for sale for hardcore/non casual fans before they announce it on their social media. Yeeees I know thats not gonna happen, but let me dream about it 😂

The most senseful subject of the potential anagram using all of the bold letters we have seen so far (NENYEILNCEBAORR) comes down to:

Celebrate Neon Rain

Cannot make anything out of the italic letters, as using them all provides mostly jibberish.

I guess tomorrow is the day we find out whether it's all been some elaborate troll from Jason who originally posted about it to reddit

If 1981 will be Single 1, I would be so dissapointed. Its a pretty good Album track, but for a first Single I hope for something more exciting

Tracklist confirmed! Haha.    I really like Celebrate Neon Rain.  That sounds really interested and also tied to September Ends.   But I am one of those melodramatic fools who is still hoping for the promotion of Trilogy, RevRad and FOAM to be completed.     Tomorrow, we get a music video for Stop When the Red Lights Flash followed by Amy.   Then 8th Avenue Serenade and 99 Revolutions.     A massive Somewhere/Forever Now video, a Teenage Teenager video and THEN after all that....a Father of All Tours Tour.     And of course some kind of fun surrounding 1972.    and all other non-released material.   Ah, nevermind.   I'm gonna go to a shrink / to analyis my posts / she says it's lack of sense that's making me dense / i never went to whore / cause that'd disrespect lenor'

Clearly Bonny.

I don't want to burst anyone's bubble, and believe me I am as excited for new music as anyone but it just occurred to me that they have just released a whole load of merch around the Dookie anniversary.  Surely they will want to let that maximize sales, probably at least until Christmas, before launching any new stuff?  I suppose they could make the announcements tomorrow with a release date in February and then release the new album merch then, it seems like quite a lot of merch coming thick and fast, and quite expensive.  Or maybe they'll just tell us they are awake tomorrow and are getting in on the joke.

It wouldn’t exactly hurt Dookie sales if we’re only getting a single now and waiting until at least February (?) for the album

I want one of you guys to win:

What if it was me who made the website?   I didn't, but that have been a smart yet scummy way to get views.  Anyway, get your guesses in and if you'r in the US or canada I will mail you a free CD of the album ASAP.    Who know what will happen tomorrow.

I'll blend a hat and my Dookie CD together and then drink them if the bold letters aren't in any way connected to the new stuff. It's just too specific to be a coincidence, including the odd repeats during the first days and then an additional day's wait for the page to state "come back tomorrow". This was made as an anagram that would resolve to one meaningful sentence, and keep in mind my neon rain guess was the only one to use up all the letters and still make sense. Potentially the only true solution to the anagram. Not that it couldn't be anything absolutely different in the end, and by no means I want to sound pretentious like I know something (all I know's that I'm pretty fucking stupid) - but the way it's been put in front of us is either a very elaborate troll, or indeed a true hint in the letters.

But yeah, I don't believe we'll get the single tomorrow either. Pseudo-announcement in the shadows for hardcore fans, maybe.

Celebrate Neon Rain honestly sounds great, but I think it's too long of a title. I wonder if it's Green Day inviting us to celebrate their next album, Neon Rain?

The neon pink colours on the site would make sense, I could see the album cover looking like streaks of "Neon Rain" in the pink colour with GREEN DAY emboldened on the cover, with nothing else.
