What happened since 21CB is kinda the opposite, the side projects sound landed on GD records. And we are talking about a band that reinvented its sound at least 4 times in their career. And on top of that I don’t really get where this “they like the side projects more” come from. For sure they like to play more intimate shows from time to time, and to have fun with these side gigs, but I don’t really see how we can put this in contrast or competition with their GD career. Feel like posts like this keep forgetting they had a GD album/stadium tour cycle that ended less then a year ago and started in 2019.
