I just hope the album is not in development hell

Maybe the vinyl delay theory is true

Father of all photo/video shoot begun like a month before announcement came out and yes it leaked. Remember the Madonna inn thing? So maybe, just maybe, if something happened very soon we would at least have a picture leaked or just a randomly post on whatever social media like “hey I just saw Green Day with bunch of cameras and it seemed they were shooting something”. I hope be proven wrong. And soon.

They need to pull a blink and just drop a single. It’s been 7 months since blink dropped edging and I’ve personally been content with that and release updates. Give us a song to hold us over at least

They clearly changed their plans and the teasing was probably for the previous plan. All we can hope for is booze to be right.

What did booze said?

Who thinks they could get their hand on the masters?  Like, not steal them.  Just alter the shape of the door lock, stealthily swoop in and change the geographic location of the master to another place of residence on accident.   No crime there.  Just atoms moving atoms.

My money is on a single dropping late summer. Album is out in the fall before thanksgiving and christmas.  MAAAAAAAAAAAAAN.  This year is literally to the half way mark.  Does time speed up more when you're older or younger lol.

Rancid have a new song and new album coming out.   Tim Armstrong has the same last name as Jillie Bow Legweak, so he may hold the key to 1972.

Also, the album art is going to be YELLOW.  All new rock albums are going to be highlighter yellow.  Nothing says F you like a high lighter.

I'm personally holding on to pink. Pink is a good color, and the band has never been afraid to use it.

One day left for 1972, or one more day with any sign of it. You can see it in a good or bad way.

And now Staind have returned with their first song in 12 years.   It's been around 12 years since FOAM, right?

Honestly, if I was them, with all the album announcements recently, I would delay my release too.  Metallica, Ff, Blink, Rancid all within the rock genre, sure there are more too.

Green Day are bigger than Blink, Foo and Rancid.  And the Yellow album by Metallica isn't blowing anybody away.   Also, with streaming, all these big releases could bounce off each other rather than detract.  Say I get on spotify to listen to Metallica.  I will definitely wonder and skip around and bing bang boom, I'm rocking out to 1972.
