Tbh it's dependent on the region and religion you grow up with. My family identifies itself as Christian, so we celebrated Easter but we aren't overtly religious, and we honestly kinda stopped celebrating it hardcore once my sister and I grew up a bit. Keep in mind that there are all sorts of religions, so for a lot of ppl out there this weekend is gonna just be a regular weekend.

Am I the only one who is unable to add any reactions to posts on this thread?

That happened to me for a while on my iPhone. An easy fix is to hit refresh, then it works. It seems to be working better for me now though.

Green Day‘s most recent tour manager wrote today back to me on IG: „they (Green Day) aren‘t working much“ …

Did you have a polygraph test attached to him while he was typing that?

Maybe a Pollyanna test.

Going to be good year for Punk music, I think.

Bad Religion, Blink-182, Offspring, Rancid, Social Distortion, Suicidal Tendencies.

And then uh....Green Day, I guess.  Maybe.

All of those cat emojis. It's an album entirely just about cats 😸

It seems like a lot of this news is based off of assumptions and very little is actually confirmed so I’m going to stay skeptical.

Yeah whilst I'm happy if this is true back in 2009 I had a friend who worked for one of the ticketing companies who told me Green Day had other dates pencilled in in the UK/Europe (including my city) but they never happened

Green Day wrote a sequel to the cats musical

It’s not purrrfect but it’s close.

They performed it live at the Whisker a-gogo in LA.

It's not 15 different emotions, but @DookieLukie does have a point. The way the emotions are distributed do look like an album tracklist, with a similar mix to their albums in the past:

Tracks 1-5: High energy bangers

6-8: Fun and joyful

9-10: sweet and sentimental

11: sad

12: Fun and joyful again

13: love song

14: Angry ("I hate you" song?)

15: Funny or silly song (could be a short one for a final track, like a Tre song)

Yeah, it could be a 14 track album with the 15th song being hidden, Let's say track 14 runs like 7:45 with the actual song ending at the 5 minute mark. a few seconds pass, and BOOM, a hidden Tré track!!!

By the way, do you think this one will be the sad one or the sweet and sentimental?

And this one could be one of the high energy bangers!!!

These are probably the fun and joyful ones

Are hidden tracks still a thing? I mean a few years ago it made sense when you played the vinyl and suddenly it wasn't over, but since everyone can easily see how long each track is, it's not that "hidden" anymore 😄

So considering GD haven't toured near my city since 2002, I'm actually gonna be pissed if they do this time cuz I just had to spend £132 I don't have on gig tickets for my bf's birthday and I can't afford for GD to remember that my part of the world exists 😬 Guys if you're reading this, stay AWAY
