Well I think the festival could be a date during their upcoming tour and probably heading to EU in November/December and in january/february Australia and Asia

It's seems like Crush has a new pattern to promote new releases.

Miley Cyrus and Fall Out Boy started teasing in December with a single in January and the album coming in March.

I’d like to think it’s so quiet because they’re hard at work

Yeah but they were teasing us last year as they were hard at work. When they put out that teaser with CLA, that gave us the impression that recording was done and CLA was mixing it

That’s what I thought, but I’ve also been thinking maybe they’re using different mixers for different songs. It’s fairly common and I don’t think that’s something Green Day has done before, pretty sure all of their albums have been mixed by one person. Who knows though, this lead up to the next album is wild 😂

LOL, why? Because he mixed FOAM? Although he’s been their engineer too

he doesn't mixed most of foam, though he mixed a lot of stuff in the past few years, like longshot, no fun mondays and some other songs. I don't think he is a great mixer

Agree with this - great engineer, not great mixer

I think that even people without any musical or mixing knowledge can put a Chris Dugan's mix and a Chris Lord Alge's mix one next to each other and notice a galaxy of difference..

I feel like this would be a good time to bang out a Tubbies record while we embrace for the cold, bitter wait until Album 14.

Green Day albums may take 4 years to record but the Tubbies?

One night is all they need.

It's going to be a sequel to American Idiot, but each song with have at least a musical nod to every record that has come before it.   Just a big ole, sad story to celebrate all things Green Day.

And then a movie and musical...of course.

Rinse and repeat and then we don't have to worry, because we won't be around anymore.

Or our robot bodies won't feel these Green Day things.

How many pages will this be by 2026?

I don't know if the GDA matrix can handle this.

The FOAM next album anticipation threads were combined a total of exactly 620 pages.
I guess we need to get to 720 pages to have single and record announcement.

I don't think so, that's really not that typical for a rock record and I'd like to think the use of Rob and CLA is a conscious effort to go back to a production team that works for them and not experiment with that side of things too much.

I still think the album is done and they're working on finishing touches, tracklistings cover art etc. and then we'll get a single or at the very least an official announcement and title.

I love your optimism. I really hope so. Realistically, I think any announcement is some time away. The GD official site is of course concentrating on Nimrod 25th, promoting sales, released digital singles and merchandise. They will not want to detract from that for at least a few weeks, if not longer.

Maybe a hint or even a tease on Billie Joe's birthday Feb 17? Or something at Innings Festival Feb 25; have they ever announced anything during such past events?

Assuming your theory is true, what you've listed to happen between Innings festival, and Harley Davidson festival Jul 14. Album release thereafter, with tour dates, US, up to and after 'When We Were Young' Oct 21. Followed by world tour 2024. Sorted.

All the Nimrod stuff now is promoting the pre-release sales. It comes out a week from now. Once it’s out, how much longer do you think they’ll need to promote it?

Not much longer, I’d say it’ll be the same kind of promotion as Insomniac 25 and Live at the BBC.

Billie Joe squirted some ketchup on 21st Century Breakdown, spelling out the words "poopoo head".     He is no longer allowed near the condiments and Mike Dirnt is now in charge of naming things.   Billie and Tre can't be trusted.

I hope they are at least sequencing the songs at this point in time, which is 12:48PM.

And replicated the American Idiot team?   Yes, please.
