The band members were also talking and experimenting quite a bit in the teasers from my memory, which usually indicates that things are pretty early... like just figuring out how the songs work levels of early (as opposed to just jamming the songs). It's been a while, so they've probably made a lot of progress since then, but they are also doing a huge tour right now. The videos themselves could have been old when the band decided to upload them too, but I think if that were the case, we'd have a lot more to go on by now. I'm not saying that the release might not be around the corner, but I wouldn't hold my breath. These things take time and like I said before, I doubt the marketing has even started yet. If it has then Alf is absolutely right in saying that it's not very good marketing. I remember the earliest days of me being a fan and how painful the wait between AI and 21CB felt. Looking back now it really wasn't that long (especially with SD&R) and it only felt that way because I was drooling over any news or rumours I could find online daily for way too long and spent way too much time doing it. I'd forgotten that but yes they did. They started to play it in Denver on the 21CB tour in 2010 and for the rest of that leg of the tour. Because Mike once admitted that even though the session tapes were stolen, they still have the backups. Your enthusiasm knows no bounds. But I believe that if they do release the songs, they'll be on 1972 or a future album that's not C&V. The band has grown since then and they could re-work them.
