I mean, they teased us with the revrad hashtag like... 8 months or something? And I remember they finished the record on June of that year. But idk if this is just a "Well people didn't like FOAMF, I guess we need to do an AI type album now, we gotta get Rob back in here and do what people expect of us" kind of deal and if it is, my worry would be that this is damage control & they've not really been inspired to make an album like this I don't want Billie to think he can't make any album that has a Foxboro or trilogy kind of sound without everyone hating it and I don't want them to feel obligated to make another AI if they don't want to. Now I'm not saying that I think this is what's happening. It is very likely that they just want to make an album like this now. And I don't think the band has ever really cared about what other people think. But this is just something that I'm a bit concerned about. Especially since FOAM was only 2 years ago. I hope they're not rushing into anything I don’t think they would feel obligated to make an album based on fan critic considering Warning wasn’t as well received and they didn’t go back to their 90s style that was the well received at the time. Instead they eventually reinvented themselves and created an album and sound that was evolved, new, and fresh.
