Anyway, anyone have any thoughts on what made them go back to Rob as opposed to trying another new producer? My thinking is Rob is the only one they trust to tell them the truth when something is great and when something sucks and they know they need to hear that right now. Rob was a yes man during the Trilogy. He was fanboying and not objective. I like Rob, but weird how suddenly he's a savior when people hated him during the Trilogy. It’s doable though, I don’t know why so many artists have such a long vinyl wait, about a year ago I had LP’s pressed and in hand in less than 2 months from a major plant. It’s not that bad at all, but a project on that scale just needed a little longer to cook but I think they were feeling pressure to get it out in 2012. Besides, the impression I got from Cuatro is that he was pretty hands off with the whole thing. I do think if he had a stronger role in the trilogy it probably would’ve been more fully realized but I don’t blame or vilify I’m for that.
