The most important thing now is streaming! I just checked FOAM on Spotify and it actually has millions of plays! Years ago that was the case with U2 for All That You Can't Leave behind. They won several Grammys for their single one year, which was out prior to the deadline, and then for the album the following year. I have to say though, I have a problem with all of these older bands winning best rock when there are so many great new bands that are really doing more innovative things. Just my opinion. I honestly don’t think they’re in the recording phase anymore. I think they documented a ton of the recording phase to use as teasers and now they’re either waiting for final mixes or for more information on an appropriate release timeline.
