Definitely the bass, Mike has said in interviews that he has a bass he uses for recordings called "the weapon". I think he said it in an interview with bass player magazine during the trilogy era. I think the trilogy actually has some of his best bass tones so I was excited to see his post 🙂

And that killer bass solo in Dirty Rotten Bastards!!!

I wonder how many times Tré had to tell him don’t touch the controls 😆

You know how Billie said FOAM was almost called American Idiot 2?

I think this time around, they are seriously thinking about calling this one Dookie 2.

or Dookie Dos.

or Dos De Dookie.

What if 1972 isn't the album name? I feel like they wouldn't give it away that quickly.

I don't think 1972 is the album title.

For the Trilogy, Billie announced that February they were in the studio, and revealed ¡UNO!, ¡DOS!, ¡TRÉ! in April

Its definitely possible 1972 isn't the album title but is definitely the theme of the album, the album could simply be Self Titled

Or maybe they'll call it '50' and do an Adele and release albums based on their age at time of writing

Both of which would be pretty lame. On the other hand, self titled album name trend seems to be going away finally.

All albums from Warning (without the trilogy) have a song called like the album, so should we also expect a song called 1972?🧐🧐🧐🧐

Weezer has 6 self titled albums, the Blue Album, the Green Album, the Red Album, the White Album, the Teal Album, and the Black Album

I've always seen Uno Dos and Tre to be their self-titled albums, I doubt they'd do that again. That said I'm not 100% convinced on 1972 being the title either although so much use of that in teasers would be a bit out of place if it wasn't at the very least a song title

And again, they did the same thing with #RevRad, which ended up being Revolution Radio, both the album title and title song
