Definitely the bass, Mike has said in interviews that he has a bass he uses for recordings called "the weapon". I think he said it in an interview with bass player magazine during the trilogy era. I think the trilogy actually has some of his best bass tones so I was excited to see his post 🙂

I'm not sure why these teasers aren't getting me excited. This sounds great. Sounds like classic Green Day, but I guess I won't be thrilled until we get a full new single. Honestly, for the other teasers I didn't even realize new music was playing in the background. It was sounded like other GD songs!

I still think it is. They used the hashtag #RevRad on the first post in the studio early 2016. It was an abbreviation but still the title

For the Trilogy, Billie announced that February they were in the studio, and revealed ¡UNO!, ¡DOS!, ¡TRÉ! in April

Its definitely possible 1972 isn't the album title but is definitely the theme of the album, the album could simply be Self Titled 

Or maybe they'll call it '50' and do an Adele and release albums based on their age at time of writing

Both of which would be pretty lame. On the other hand, self titled album name trend seems to be going away finally.

I've always seen Uno Dos and Tre to be their self-titled albums, I doubt they'd do that again. That said I'm not 100% convinced on 1972 being the title either although so much use of that in teasers would be a bit out of place if it wasn't at the very least a song title

And again, they did the same thing with #RevRad, which ended up being Revolution Radio, both the album title and title song

Maybe the track list goes like: 1965, 1966, 1967, 1968, 1969, 1970, 1971, 1973, 1974, 1975, 1976, 1977, 1978 but 1972 is the only year that‘s missing 🤔

oh and 1971 is the ballad, because track 7 is always the ballad
