Not sure if anyone posted this but it seems Tre and Sara are over there now too based on stuff they are posting.

I've put some of their posts in the Instagram thread. Looks like Tré flew over last Thursday from one of his posts

Please for the love of bejebus let there be interesting concrete news tomorrow. However I gotta admit indeed it is wonderful to know something is up and this has been way more exciting than the entire Hella Mega Tour at this point. It’s off schedule/not expected.

Hoping for another sighting or update tomorrow.

It can’t be nothing if basically the whole band and crew are there, I’m guessing Mike is on his way to the UK.

This is pretty exciting. Finally. Something. Thank God even if at this point it’s basically nothing… Hope is everything.

They’re more likely doing overdubs/mix approval on the BBC stuff, but it would be so cool if they were recording new things

for a record to be released in december, those mixes had to be approved back in may or june.

Considering how backed up the pressing plants are, all the mix approvals should have been done a while ago.  It must be something else, maybe publicity thing

We all know it's gonna end up being a pub for the BBC Session.

So someone on reddit claims they’re there for a wedding. They haven’t said how they know that. Then someone speculated that since Joey’s wife Phoebe is English, that maybe it’s a do over wedding for her friends and family since they couldn’t travel to the one they had last year.  Sounds plausible if the wedding thing is true.

I confirm it’s true, they’ll stay a couple of weeks :)

Sorry, no recording or stuff like this ahah

Do you have confirmation outside of Reddit LOL? Because I think we have found out the hard way here how unreliable Reddit is LOL.

I know there is a lot of negative feeling toward Joey, but this is no longer a pandemic issue. People are having events now because unlike before, vaccines are available. I'm going to one Saturday and feel very safe with my vaccine status. If people choose to not get vaccinated, that's their problem.

That’s true this isn’t about that. I think he’s just getting dunked on because while most people are having their postponed weddings now, he never had to postpone one and instead got two. Height of privilege. But I’ll stop before I get slapped down.

We only wanted to speculate about a new album/single/secret show :(
Give us something Green Day please.

We don't care about the rapist wedding part II

Sorry, but that is totally out of line. 😡

I don’t buy it, I don’t see the band and their crew coming over just for one members family wedding, unless they’re performing at it or something

Why not? We don’t really know how many are there, travel is ok, they have the tI’ve and money.

How? This is a thread about Green Day in London. If they are there for a redo of Joey's wedding then that is fine to say, but rehashing the whole Joey thing is not. We have already been warned about that. Can't we just enjoy Green Day stuff without having to make everything about how much Joey sucks? We know he sucks. Let's move on now.

That is a good point. The band being there is one thing, but not sure about someone like Chris Dugan (unless they really are that super close). I still think this is publicity for the BBC album.

This really isn't that uncommon though — most people I know did something smaller or more scaled down and then held the more formal wedding or a reception this year for those who couldn't come. And I'm not exactly part of a celebrity-level social circle.

Oh this makes complete sense. I have a friend who did a small wedding last year and then a (slightly) larger reception earlier this year. I have no issues with that; this just seems like a lot of publicity for a family wedding, especially when the first one was not publicized. I definitely think something is up in regards to publicity for the album as well.
