But there is also this concert in Quebec City from March 2017 in which Billie realized he invited a pregnant girl named Alexandra on stage. He decided to give the guitar to the baby at the end. (By the way, months later, when the baby was born, it was a girl and she was named Émilie Joe. And she did received the guitar.)

 

I finally watched these and they are just too sweet! That top one with the little girl just kills me. I love the part of Tre taking the pic LOL. And then at the end where she runs away after Billie falls over! 🤣

Also, not to be the jerk who ruins all the sweetness, but the more I think about it, was anyone else slightly concerned by that video with the really little girl I mentioned above? I mean, Green Day handled it great, but that kid was very young--like probably not even school age yet--and seemed kinda overwhelmed and even scared at times (like when she ran away) by being at a rock concert. I don't think she was really old enough to appreciate something like that. Heck, she had to wear ear protection, so she couldn't even hear the music. And the fact that she got spotted to be brought on stage tells me she must have been in the pit, which isn't really where a kid that small should be. Just a thought. Doesn't change the fact that the video is downright adorable.

Also I found another video of the Green Day: The Early Years documentary with an alternate intro scene (not the pee scene) on YouTube and I am kinda disappointed. 🤣

UPDATE: So I just spent the past hour trying to find this and now I can't. Even went back through my YouTube history from yesterday and all I see is the same pee one. I think maybe it was the same video and it started in a weird place or something. Started with him on stage. Anyway, I just watched this damn pee scene about 12 times trying to find one without it and I think I need to go bathe in holy water. Feeling deliberately trolled again. 🤣

Lots of cute moments in this too! Has that scene people were talking about where Joey gets a pet fish (and then he is already worried about it dying LOL). If you don't want Joey there is plenty of other adorable content in this. This is apparently also the video that the pic of Billie brushing his teeth came from LOL. A couple of annoying parts in the middle where the video goes silent for like a minute each time; I think they had to silence music for copyright reasons or something LOL.

I figured if you're reading the thread then you'd see it. I know that I personally don't like being quoted for every little thing, so that's why I don't do it unless it's necessary contextually.

Well I finally watched The Early Years. Really good! I got a few clips of Billie saying some stuff. I still really need something with the three of them discussing their bond as friends and musicians, though. I know I've seen interviews that have stuff like that, but I can't remember which they are. More hugging is also always welcome.

Right now I feel like it's mostly Billie and, as much as I love him, I do want this to be Green Day sweetest moments, not just Billie.

Only had time to watch about first 12 minutes but this is just brilliant!  If anyone doubted what sort of person Billie was, that footage from London with Rachel is all you need to know.  He clearly recognises she is going to need assistance and, not only does he show patience and understanding, but his security guy (can’t believe I can’t remember his name right now), does too and the whole thing was so emotional and amazing.  He handled it beautifully and she, and her carer, were great.

Now watched whole thing, fabulous, love it and so great to see the bit from Broadway Idiot.  Could only get the download of that so don’t have it the extras.  Well done, you really captured them 👏👏❤️❤️
