I don't think it's Mike doing it on the studio version. I don't think he really even does any backing vocals on their albums anymore. Billie at least does most of them anyway and the backing vocals on that track sound more like Billie than Mike imo

Can anyone actually confirm what backing vocals (if any) Mike does on their new albums (like since 2012). He's always credited but whenever I hear backing vocals since 21CB, it's either Billie or I can't tell if it's Billie or Mike. The last Mike vocals we've got on a gd album afaik is that one line on Sex Drugs & Violence

correct me if i'm wrong but doesn't he do backup vocals in i was a teenage teenager and graffitia? and also the "ho, ho, ho"s in here comes the shock?

As usual, GDC overreacting.

Oh no.

Fight urge...to...make fake tracklist....oh no....

2021 is the year of Pop Punk.

Weezer, Dropkicks, Offspring and have all knocked it out of the park this year.

Now Green Day and Against Me! are in the studio.

Heck, Blink and Fall Out Boy just need to drop albums and we could have a HELLA MEGA WARPED TOUR, the biggest pop punk festival ever!

If the Transplants, +44 and Flogging Molly announce new albums next, I will know I've died and am in pop punk heaven.

Weirdo

Back up vocals in Graffitia were Butch Walker.

He's such a fanboy that he had to make a vocal cameo on a song instead of just simply producing it? I'll have to listen more closely to Graffitia. I usually prefer Billie's acoustic version from awhile back in his living room (and now the one from WTMP), but I'll give the original a try again.
I will admit that his added guitar part on FOAM really makes the studio version. So at least he did something right there.

The video of this instagram account is so fake. They tried to immitate Billie‘s guitar set up but failed (like everyone else) 😅

Is not like that. I don't remember who said it (Billie or Butch) but the thing was the band sent Walker the song, and he added ideas (like the added guitar you mentioned) but Billie like that much that he decided to leave it as it is. Is not like Butch asked to be in the record, is just the band wanting to move forward fast with the recording :)

Wait, I don't remember any orgasm noises on FOAM. That was a Trilogy thing. But if you can point out some orgasm noises on FOAM I will feel a lot better about that album LOL.

Classic @BillieMyLove :D

I shout out GDA whenever I can, and am so excited about covering a Green Day era for the first time.

Hopefully I can be the first to get Green Day news and bring it you guys.  But you guys are very good at getting it first.

Weirdo power!

Weirdos unite!

When do you think that the album could be released? I think that, if that person in the video next to Billie is Chris Dugan, they are already mixing it, so they already finished recording. If that's the case, maybe they release it in July/August? 🥰

Summer is a bad moment to release an album so maybe September ?

I say maybe the single by July/August/September, and if they’re following the same formula as FOAM, maybe February for the album

Hopefully not, that long period between single and album was extremely strange. And beside that, January and February are bad months for sales 😅

why do so many people believe in a full new lp? and even in 2021? just because of the tease we got?

imo its a possibility, but i wouldnt get my hopes up right now

They didn’t tease Here Comes The Shock like this. I think they announced it like the day before if I’m not mistaken

EDIT: It was announced 3 days before. And it was released during an outdoor NHL game which ended up being delayed because of bad weather

I think It's the same thing that hapenned before... BJ said that him and Dugan done Father of All and Sugar Youth "together" before.

Unless they already recorded in the past without we know, I doubt BJ, Mike and Tre will be together in studio for now.... especially Tre.

Why would a person create a parallel account to share a slightly longer snippet in comparison to what was originally shared? :P

I can't really think anything of this song yet. I expected fast-paced songs like Bang Bang on the next record, which doesn't seem to be the case. Hoping the entire record won't go on this direction only.
