bigwilly329 Posted May 14, 2021 Posted May 14, 2021 Sounds similar to the guitar tone on No Fun Mondays 1 Quote

Chin for a Day Posted May 14, 2021 Posted May 14, 2021 I would rather listen to this 10 second snippet on a continuous loop than anything in FOAM 1 1 1 Quote

Murkrage Posted May 14, 2021 Posted May 14, 2021 The tease is real and I’m here for all of it. We’re due for another album. I sure hope it’s an album and not just a random un-shocking one-off. Quote
Montclare Posted May 14, 2021 Posted May 14, 2021 Had a bit of The Cars feel to me. I also thought Chris Dugan. Please lose the blond or I'm going to have to become a full time Kevin fangirl. 1 3 Quote
Star-LordAndTheAve Posted May 14, 2021 Posted May 14, 2021 Billie and Mike should totally keep beards in the future. No need to shave them for a tour! Mike looks better with a beard imo (idk if he's got one now, i haven't been on social media much recently, but I just think he looks badass when he does) 1 1 Quote

Clockwise Posted May 14, 2021 Posted May 14, 2021 Doesn’t sound like FOAM to me but I agree it’s too early to make a call either way. 2 Quote
Gwen Stacy Posted May 14, 2021 Posted May 14, 2021 Sounds like more Butch Walker production which has me somewhat reserved but I’d by lying if I said I didn’t love getting teased like this and if it comes out any time soon it’ll break the standard 4-year turnaround, which is always great news. Stylistically it sounds like FOAM and No Fun Mondays had a baby. An evolution of sorts? I can’t wait to find out. 2 1 Quote
AlissaGoesRAWR Posted May 14, 2021 Posted May 14, 2021 Is it possible they're rehearsing for the tour? Don't want to get my hopes up for new music already just to have them NiFi'd. 1 Quote

FOAM actually grew on me fast!! Meet Me on the Roof is my most favorite song from the album. My only complaint was that the album was too short, clocking in at 26 minutes with only 10 songs!!! Hopefully the next one is between 12-16 songs and is 45-60 minutes long!!! I’m wondering though if this new teaser is for a new album altogether or one of the extra tracks left over from the FOAM sessions. Billie said in an interview last year before the pandemic hit that they had about 6 extra songs and that he plans to put them all out eventually. Does anyone know when they recorded Here Comes The Shock? 3 Quote

FluffyGD Posted May 14, 2021 Posted May 14, 2021 Sadly I'm not very excited. Billie is clearly obsessed with creating music for Green Day that tries to sound so youthful and modern. This particular snippet sounds very much like something that SWMRS would do. This will be Father of All part II I'm afraid and even less mature probably. Don't get me wrong I love some songs on there like Meet Me On the Roof, Take The Money and Crawl or Graffitia but I don't listen to the rest of the album often. Why is Billie so afraid to put the Green Day name on material like the Love Is for Losers album or The Network stuff? 2 1 Quote
PluckyJokerhead Posted May 14, 2021 Posted May 14, 2021 Sounds like FOAM but with bigger guitars, a bit like Graffitia. Definitely wouldn't mind a whole album of Graffitias. 3 Quote
