alienlifeform
"Heard immunity" is some expression that means what? I was thinking that it could be 'Herd Immunity' mispelled

solongfromthestars
I refuse to accept this inferior lyric. I've never had a problem dissecting a MAN. 3

For sure. I think it's referring to information being spread (through being heard) maybe? Also it's written in the booklet as "Herd Immunity" but on the back of the case and everywhere else online etc as "Heard Immunity", I think it's just an error in the booklet.
DookieLukie
So in CITNB, I still think it's "an invitation to the netherworld" not an "investigation."

It does say investigation in the booklet though.
jengd
Thanks for this @Hermione. I laughed out loud when I saw Popper Punk, soooo many words. 😂😂 Typical Green Day liner notes with at least some bits wrong.

It's all the brackets and commas that got me, very thorough Edit: Just listened to Popper Punk while reading the lyrics and they're perfectly correct. As they should be for the most important song on the album. Very good. 2 7
The Grohl
So I know they're saying "in excess" not "INXS" on Asphyxia, but I still think it's a reference to the band considering they mention "new sensation," which is an INXS song and the rumor that Michael Hutchence died doing auto erotic asphyxiation (which he didn't). Also, they didn't include the lyrics for the beginning of Ivanka?! BAH!

Yeah I think so, especially as it's written with a pause before in excess like this: Try baby try baby not to do it- In excess It's a double meaning/pun
jengd
Totally agree @The Grohl and @Hermione, there is even a tiny pause to draw your attention to it.

Very, very strange. I like it. "my hypocrisy" instead of "our hypocrisy" In "Trans Am". Proof that the disfigured vagabond underneath those bandages is the greatest vocalist of all time: Evolving from another time headed to outer space Scorching the pavement just a victim of the human race White knuckles racing cause her force is so centrifugal Can't stop myself from driving Her inertia telling me who I am On a stranger note - If you take what your learn from track 4 and combine it with lessons from track 17, it will more than tickle you pink. Just try baby, try baby, try baby not to do it inside the band INXS. Do it inside of NOFX.

Honestly the official PP ones are very good but I completely failed to even start counting them by just listening before so I totally appreciate that you did it! And also the most recent time I listened I noticed it sounds like there might be some very quiet echoed amyls and nitrates near the end that aren't included in the lyrics (I can't tell for certain if I'm actually hearing them or just imagining it with all of the layers of sound and repetition though lol). As far as definite ones the official lyrics are correct, but the true exact amount of amyls and nitrates may NEVER be known for sure!

If only they put this level of accuracy in all their official/booklet lyrics! Why do they have to be like that? It is hilarious though. Btw thank you so much for doing this! I'd been craving for official lyrics for months.

Best part is they haven't done a lot of the songs completely accurately. But Popper Punk? Perfect attention to detail No problem! They're horrible to read in the booklet so glad to have them online.
