Popular Post GreenDayItaly
Spitboy has collected its complete discography into a new compilation, Body of Work (1990-1995), which will come out on June 25th. The compilation is now available for preorder, and, true to their mission three decades ago, 100% of the proceeds from the compilation will benefit the National Women’s Law Center. In addition to a full accounting of Spitboy’s music, the record contains new liner notes by writer Vique Simba and Green Day frontman Billie Joe Armstrong, who witnessed some of Spitboy’s earliest shows. Here, exclusively, are Armstrong’s full liner notes from Body of Work (1990 – 1995), which perfectly capture the pioneering punks’ spirit. https://www.rollingstone.com/music/music-features/spitboy-billie-joe-armstrong-liner-notes-1151353/ 6

Jason White also dated Michelle back in the 90’s. I can see why they wouldn’t appeal to the average Green Day fan, but if you like punk, they’re worth checking out. 1
pacejunkie punk
This is cool (but also ironic considering he wrote it just weeks before Lydia’s statement involving his son. Yikes 😬) Was just listening to the new podcast with Jason and he talked a lot about Todd and how he lived at her punk house when he first moved to the East Bay. Then they dated. Michelle (Todd) has turned up again more recently occasionally singing with The Coverups providing the backing vocals for Should I Stay or Should I Go. Guest
I had never heard of this band either, but I loved this article and Billie's comments. Listened to the song in the article and was very impressed. Will probably go listen to more of their work.
