alienlifeform Posted March 1, 2021 Posted March 1, 2021 According to JN Flesch, a brazilian journalist, Green Day is coming to Lollapalooza Brazil, to replace Guns'n Roses that cancelled its participation, as the headliner. The festival is set to happen next September, but it will be postponed https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=e8MXoqAmqPM&feature=youtu.be&ab_channel=Jos%C3%A9NorbertoFlesch
okotavio Posted March 1, 2021 Posted March 1, 2021 So I had to wait 4 years to see them being announced here for a show that will likely not happen before 2023 or so Still something though
caroldangers Posted March 1, 2021 Posted March 1, 2021 Can't wait to see them in 2025 (if we still exist by then) !!! 🤡🤡🤡
Karol Oliveira Posted March 2, 2021 Posted March 2, 2021 I doubt we will be able to attend concerts in 2022 here. Unless all brazilians get infected and protected by then (but some researches say people can get reinfected, so, unlikely)
Billie Joes Eyelids Posted March 2, 2021 Posted March 2, 2021 Well at least we know they're planning to stay together until then.

But I must say, I hope the band do an arena tour in support. Lollapalooza tickets cost a minumum wage here, and it's not on my plans paying so much to get a greatest hits show

It's been a long time since we've a full GD show proshot
Karol Oliveira Posted March 2, 2021 Posted March 2, 2021 Lollapalooza shows are broadcasted in Brazil, unless the band doesn't allow it. Once, I think it was Pearl Jam, didn't allow their show to be televised live when they played on Lolla, but people got so sad and mad about it that they allowed the broadcast a week later.
Wouter1994 Posted March 3, 2021 Posted March 3, 2021 At Pinkpop, a festival in the netherlands. Full performances will also be broadcasted. If the bands allow it. Given the fact that Green Day has a new management and corona, maby they will allow it in the future.
