Green Day Brasil returned and was disabled again at least three times in the last weeks. But the page is back running since yesterday

Although I feel sad and disheartened at first like most of you, I cannot say it affected me that much, so I’m fine with starting all again with a new page and never accessing my old one again, that might be because it was not really an old page like most of you (although I shared almost 800 posts in 9 months or so lol) 

But I honestly feel you and hope that all of you can get your pages back soon!

The band itself has been following the fan pages, liking their posts and interacting with quite a bit of them from their official accounts for years now. So, I think they understand the point very well and that's all that matters for me.

What about all the other pages that were taken down but still have gotten nothing? Are we just leaving it at that? We show Instagram the list of all the people but they don’t even try to bring back the others? It’s not like it’s hundreds of accounts. We work hard on our pages and it really sucks to just get pushed aside like that. Just because I’m not a giant news source account, doesn’t mean that I don’t work equally as hard on my content. Maybe even more. My account is such a personal and important thing to me and it’s just so frustrating to see that nobody cares after a few big names were brought back.

I don’t think it’s that nobody cares, it’s just that people here seem to have run through all of their options and don’t really know what else can be done to bring each account back. Instagram does what it wants, they hold the power.

True. It’s just very frustrating. I know that people here have done their best. Has anybody actually talked to Instagram about everyone else not getting their accounts back? I know that there has been some communication about the issues with Green Day Brazil and stuff, but I just wanted to make sure someone actually told Instagram that there are more people waiting to get their accounts restored after their mistake. Because if nobody communicated that, that’s another issue...

I think the same thing that happened to Green Day Brazil, is happening to me.

After 2 months of filling out countless forms, I finally got my account back today. 10 minutes later, before I even got the chance to actually do anything, I get disabled again of "not following community guidelines." 

Now they're saying that they won't be able to reactivate it. I keep getting the same email. I've probably filled out like 20 forms today. I've replied to almost all of their emails. It's absolutely fucking ridiculous. "Sorry for any inconvenience?" The audacity of them to say that, and then take it all away 10 minutes later. I need help. I don't know what else to do. Can someone please give me some guidance? I know that other people here have been in a similar situation. I know that the instagram help center isn't gonna do shit.

I'm just incredibly frustrated, and incredibly pissed off at Instagram. They need to get their shit together. If anybody has any information that can help me, please let me know. I'm desperate.

It still says this when I try to log-in:

"Your account has been disabled for violating our terms. Learn how you may be able to restore your account. https://help.instagram.com/579394218790742"

...Ooof, I just went to the link and it now says, "Your account has been deleted for not following our terms. You won't be able to log into this account and no one else will be able to see it. We're unable to restore accounts that are deleted for these types of violations." at that link.  Sooooo, I guess that's that. I did NOT do anything to violate their terms. Sheesh, I give up.  Sending out a big FU to IG 🤬 and I won't start a new account. ☹🥺  However, I won't say never. 😂

Believe it or not, I decided to check my spam inbox and I found 2 emails from instagram from May 4th. This is different than any others I've gotten before. I think that I might actually get help. Let's hope at least. Fingers crossed...

Do the first two general ones, the age verification, and the last one. Just keep doing them.

Still nothing. I just got another email that same night saying that my account was disabled. No fucking shit Instagram. I’m so fed up with this bullshit. A few people come back and Instagram doesn’t even care. I literally did nothing. NOTHING. I know that most people have moved on at this point, but I worked hard for my account. It’s a safe space for me, and I really miss it. It’s just so incredibly unfair. I did absolutely nothing. They give me it back for 10 GODDAMN MINUTES. And then they take it away as fast as they gave it back. They say that they want to help me, but don’t even read the information that I give them. I’m so done. To so many other people, it’s just a regular old account, but to me it’s a place for me to express my creativity, discuss my passions, tell my story, and use my platform. It’s so much more than just a fan page. It’s mine snd I built it all on my own. I can’t let go.

My account @greendayitalianrageandlove is still disabled since February.

I've been devastated, I put so much effort into my account, it meant the world to me. 

I don't want to move on, I tried every appeal form and I'm just hopeless at this point. 

I hope Bill didn't forget about us, I really hope he's gonna help us @foxborohottub

There's a problem with sending messages at the moment (it often won't let you write in the message box), hoping it'll be fixed soon. There's 4 different ways to send someone a new message, seems random whether any of them work for each person so it's worth giving each of them a try:

1st way: Go to your inbox and click the red "compose new" button

2nd way: Click the message icon at the top left of the page and click the blue "compose new" button in the drop down 

3rd way:  Go to the profile of the person you want to message and click the blue "message" button

4th way: Hover over the username of the person you want to message in a thread and click "message" in the box that pops up
