But I don't want them to just recreate those albums I'm fine with them taking their time making an album if it creates a great album. I just want a really good album

Littleshi
we played for the last 30 years, and now we can do whaterver we want, also we create the songs much faster. and i think that is the wrong aproach. i hope they stop singing about tennage and high school shits. and evolve from somewhere now that is the more mature song on the last 3 records.
Gonzalo17
2021 Will be Kerplunk 30 years... An extra CD with modern live performances of the 12 songs would be cool
That Dude
I want the album to be terrible. Like a movie that's so bad it's good. Think Troll 2 or The Room. Just the poopiest sounding record ever. 1

Just the poopiest sounding record ever. The album is 90 minutes long and contains speeches. All three guys have their own songs where they tell "real stories" with sarcasm. There is elevator type of music in the background of every song. The last song is a classic Green Day song, but it suddenly ends after the 1st pre-chorus and the album ends. After this in a interviwe, Billie Joe will say that this will be their sound for the next 10 years, but album 15 is a 90 minutes long death metal album. 2 1

Bakabanas
I expect something similar to Popper Punk, in other words, something close to greatness.

localinsomniac
Sonically? Nimrod. Stylistically? Dookie. Thematically? AI. Lyrically? Warning. Aesthetically? Insomniac.

Popular Post That Dude
A bunch of songs exactly like Here Comes the Shock. And when I say "a bunch", I mean 7 at the max. And they are all 1 minute a piece. To make it technical album length, there is a lengthy piece of found music with Mike Dirnt smoking something and talking to someone on the phone. Birds are used (gently) as percussion at one point. King Crimson guest star on 3 tracks. Tre Cool gives zero Fs at all the entire record. Guitars are filled with spinach and it is called the bands Prog masterpiece. I play harmonica but it's drowned out with all the spinach like a horns section on Rev Rad. 2 1

Clockwise
I'd actually be happy with 10 song, 26-30 minutes albums if it meant we'd get one every year/year and a half.
Beerjeezus
Anything that feels fresh. I liked FOAM because they weren’t repeating themselves and instead came up with something a bit different and that’s fun.

Slave To The Network
I will take whatever they'd like to give us as long as it's of a higher caliber than HCTS. Another album like AI, 21CB, or Rev Rad would be amazing, but that's probably asking a lot. Something with a similar aggression and energy to Insomniac would be super awesome as well.
localinsomniac
I've said this like the last 3 album cycles, but my jollies would be effectively activated by a Mark Trombino-produced GD record. I just absolutely adore the work he did with Jimmy Eat World.
