Plus his management definitely has access to the account too.

I’m sure they don’t want him to lose his account name again he had to get it back from someone else when he changed to it from bjunoxx or whatever it was

I think he will be back when they have something to promote.  Jacob has been posting a bit lately, and there have not been any negative comments there re Joey/SWMRS. (At least as far as I know) It just needs more time I think.  The hard part is, accusations never go away, they are always there, and ultimately there is no way around that.  I just hope there comes a time he feels more comfortable, because we all really him and the interactions.  The lives were awesome.  The puppet alone was life. LOL.

When he does come back, I think he will keep very music related.  He and Adrienne were really open about sharing pics/events from their family, and that part, I imagine, is over now.

The Loser's Club was short lived but so awesome.  I think that was almost too intimate for him tho.  It must be so weird from his perspective, tbh.  How do you find the balance between positive supportive fans, weeding out the haters/toxicity, and not letting in obsessive fans/encouraging obsessive behavior etc.  I don't have an answer for that one.

He’s not as inept as people like to make it seem. He already brought the account back up once in January to renew the 30 day limit and took it down again after a few days and no posts. He knows what he’s doing.

It was a joke. I know he’s not an idiot

I've been telling the Billie on my GD poster every morning and every night "Please come back, Billie. I miss you!"

As much as I love him, I think him stepping away from social media is a good thing.

I’ve been thinking “at least he’s not saying anything dumb”, but you know what, I might even miss it a little.

@Montclare absolutely same to my posters! When I leave for work in the morning: "Bye, boys! I love you!" When I return at the end of the day: "Hi, boys! I love you!"

We have to say goodnight to our boys! At least I’ve got to the stage where I don’t kiss my phone like I kissed my posters many moons ago 😂😂

I’m part of a Muffs Facebook Fan Group called "The Muffs Love You (Official Group) where you have to get approved to get in (it isn't that hard). But Ronnie Barnett & Roy McDonald are members (admins), & interact with fans & fan posts often. I guess they are “small” enough at the moment to have this kind of relationship with their fans. Or the members have been “cool” enough so far. I see the same format work for other old punk bands as well.

I think the Longshot IG and the smaller Loser’s Club was an attempt to interact with a smaller group of fans because he enjoyed it.

I agree that a project like the Longshot gave him an opportunity to be closer with the fans!

+1. I remember years ago when Billie Joe said that he felt people bought the iPad just to know what the fuck it was. I'm a huge fan of what social media has been able to achieve more or less over the last decade with grassroots activism and stuff, but I think in many ways we're still in that stage. We're still figuring out how everything's supposed to work ... 🤔

BJ needs to get back on Twitter, Liam Gallagher interacts with fans every day through his account.

If an artist wants to, they can talk to fans whenever, there’s no need for Billie to get an onlyfans (can’t believe I’ve had to type that) unless he wants to make money in the process.

Billie never really came back to Loser’s Club after asking the front row to "mix it up"

Just saw a documentary on Hulu about OnlyFans and turns out my parallel idea for a subscription model of fan interaction unfortunately wouldn't even solve the problem of abusive trolls.  Turns out even on there creators get trolls and abuse thrown at them by comments and DMs and these people pay them so you wonder why they bother.  People always have to find a way to ruin everything so I don't know what the solution is other than blocking people one by one the old fashioned way.

I’m kinda late but I think there is a platform called ‘Clubhouse‘. I guess it’s quite popular these days. I’ve never used it btw but I think people can host audio conversations there (not any visuals though) and I saw some famous people started using it too. So, I thought it might be an online way of interacting with fans for Billie but also I’d like the boys to get together and actually do something to interact with fans rather than just having Billie to get a platform and also I think that can affect and motivate him in a more positive way for starting to interact with their fans but of course I don’t want that to feel forced by making them do this like a regular job on a certain platform etc. So, if it becomes in a more natural or 'random' way, it can felt better for me as a fan like on twitter or live streams. I think the time that they were most active on interacting with fans was during RevRad era. Even though I was not even a listener of them at that time, I can feel the connection between fans and the band when I look back to the content from that tour period.
