I wasn't sure where to post this or if someone had already shared it. Someone uploaded the most complete video of Green Day's performance of "Let Yourself Go" at the 2012 MTV VMAs I have ever seen 3 months ago. Great quality too. This is probably one of my favorite TV performances of the trilogy era. 😄

The video begins with Kevin Hart and Psy dancing to "Gangnam Style". It was around this time that Billie called Psy the "herpes of music"!

Is a nice performance. Is the very first performance of that song where Jason sung the "gotta let it go" part. This happened just right after the band were on their European promo tour for the trilogy and cancelled their italian show.

I was at this event in the crowd! So much fun. Before it started, Billie put his gum on an amp and some dude put it in his mouth. 🤢 Oh, pre-covid days.
