HOTG is a highlight for me, largely because of Fink’s backing, I just love it’s and that one of the reasons Tarantula reminds me of it. Yes, I hear something very similar on DIP but it is a little different, or it maybe is a vocal turned into an effect or something? It seems to change slightly as you listen if that makes sense. Nice catch though, I didn't notice how these lines sound the same in both songs, even though the similarities between Tarantula and HotG jumped at me right away, from the music and structure angle. It's only Fink, Van Gough and Snoo ever singing lead, not completely sure about backing vocals but usually just sounds like them too. And I think I can tell which of the three sings each song. In Disease is Punishment they were lipsyncing a lot so it's hard to tell, but I think any time people were singing unexpectedly it was because they were singing (or pretending to sing) backing vocals. During Disease is Punishment Fink doesn't play the drums during Hungry Hungry Models (no one does) so I would guess it's most likely it was Snoo on the album. 1 Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
