Green Day members suspicious activity in social media. 3. Hilarious Happy Rooting Unicorn posts. 4. The Ultimate Test is probably real. 5. I confessed to have faked American Idiot. This is what happened with American Idiot. Every copy is completely different. Each one of us recorded our own "perfect Green Day record". Whatever you hear when you listen to it is the album YOU made in your head". There is no "unified" version as far as I know. There's been a LOT of songs coming from this MACH TWO. While I love every little weird thing about it, I hope they save more than a couple songs from being spoiled too soon. Also, I noticed Balduci was featured heavily in the video. Has his status been upgraded from touring idiot to main man? I want some Balducci lead vocals. Actually, more than that I would like some Captain Underpants or Z lead vocals. I also want these guys to do some solo projects, really get wild this year. If the Network are this creative and free, imagine what a Captain Underpants solo album would be like? Let's get to work making that, guys. In an unrelated note, I'm going to search for vocals by Reto Peter and Chris Dugan. Absolutely no reason at all. Just random browsing. Goodbye. Tubbie Head
I've been reading back some pages (still a lot to go through) and noticed some of you are doubting about TUT. I thought it was 100% real but now I'm REALLY doubting myself Since I totally fell for MOOTIK, I can't really trust my judgement. Bill saying it's fake could indeed be just trolling this time, since that's what the band is doing as well, but he could obviously be telling the truth (as he always has). On the other hand, I think it would be a HUGE coincidence for the fake song to be leaked on youtube like a month ago, before any of us knew about The Network returning... But then there's @BraedonHorbacio's post trying so hard to prove that the song is actually by The Network, to me that is pretty sus... Then there's the fact that TUT is actually my favorite song out of the three and since I loved MOOTIK so much, this alone actually makes me slightly lean to the TUT is fake & by Panicland camp. Ok but I'm living for this, it's honesly hilarious. BRB catching up all the last 40+ pages! Long live The Network Community!

Ha, I honestly experienced some anxiety last night after a significant portion of the board insisted it was fake following multiple posts where I had been totally fangirling the song at the best thing in a while. My heart dropped as the doubt started to creep in. Then, like the Robin Williams character in Good Will Hunting, I fell into a deep peaceful sleep and haven’t thought about it since. Well almost anyway. I’m still convinced it’s real, and it’s the last time I listen to you Idiots (I mean that in the nicest way possible!) 😁 2 minutes ago, Herroon said: yeah we were talking about that wiki page a few pages back. it's pretty funny but obviously bogus. but there is thenetworkband.com - somebody checked the html to that and found other socials links and the skeleton of webstore capabilities, so there'll probably be stuff there soon. I also think Bill is trolling... but I thought that during MOOTIK so who knows Somehow I missed the Panicland thing last year (I go through heavy stretches on and off the board) and without that history I innocently walked into the TUT fiasco happily assuming we would all be celebrating a fantastic song instead of the deep fake paranoia that ensued. Man, Panicland did a number here, didn’t they? I guess it’s healthy to be skeptical in this day and age, but never did I expect that the authenticity of new material could be so uncertain (and rightfully so given what you guys dealt with during the last fake). I hope to god TUT is real. I love that song and it’s so spot on in every way that I’ll never trust my ear again if I’ve been fooled! 2

Their phony leak account was really convincing and they did their homework, I'll give em that. I'd recommend watching the video where they explain how they pulled it off if you can find it. Thanks for pointing that out, after watching and then thinking about a few portions of TUT that caught my attention (like some of the over-accented portions of the vocals and the length and composition for a Network song) I’m cringing again. Yikes, I really want that to be their song, but I guess we’ll find in in due time. That said, I don’t know how a fake would magically appear only a month before a release, and with a seemingly legit looking graphic/ logo. I may have missed the part about how that all timed up. Anyways, it’s been an eye opener for sure as to how a fake “could” potentially happen. I always thought BJA’s voice was so unique it’d be impossible. I may have been wrong. I was also a bit overconfident as a fan that GD was one of the few bands that could compose such a banger. This may still prove true, but if it’s a fake then the silver lining is there are more good songwriters out there than I thought. So much for a dull end to the year for Green Day and the Network! Fun as always, although a little more uncertain/ weird this time around. But it’s great that the confirmed songs are awesome! 3
That Dude
Doing some Green Day nerd stuff (seeing what years the songs from No Fun Mondays came from) and I see that Billie has on some glasses that look kind of like Fink's goggles. Also, they are black and white like Fink's mask. Could there be a connection? What if No Fun Mondays was not in fact Billie Joe from Green Day but Fink from The Network? Or possibly even the Rev?? Just rewatched the panicland video again, and I remember being more convinced at the time since we were only hearing snippets of songs (being played in a room and then filmed on a phone). We got like 10 seconds max of the panicland songs when it was being debated, and once they finally gave up the bit and released the full things it was pretty clear it wasn't green day. It needed other stuff in the way distorting it and cutting it up to make it convincing. TUT is pretty much a full song laid bare, and it's a really really convincing one at that. I don't know that the vocals on there sound too different from the vocals on IIAN. Plus, crush is known for social marketing schemery like this, so I don't doubt it'd be intentionally leaked on a non-official account. 3

Thing is, with The Network they are using a lot more voice/sound effects so it would be easier to disguise it right? The more I listen to TUT the more I think this song is not by The Network, it's too epic hahah and to me it still totally sounds a lot like Billie/ GD but doesn't really sound like an actual Network song, it has a different feel. I think it's more likely than not to be Panicland 😂 1

That’s insane and I don’t really like it. I give the Panicland guys props on the one hand for the ingenuity/ effort, but at the same time they trolled a great band’s following. I can see doing this to a band you don’t like...but not to a band you really respect (and they kept pulling out the fan card like this was a huge honor for whatever self serving reason) because at the end of the day that band’s fans are your joke. Hopefully they haven’t done it twice, I wouldn’t think it’d be flattering to then to recreate that look.

dallasthemenace
i love when i take a weekend off from the internet and upon returning, finding chaotic good has transpired in my absence. this is the best news ive had all year. i cant wait to spend money i dont have on a new record and t-shirt. netverk is one of the only bands that can make me unass cash. (i'm still kicking my own ass for not snagging one of the red/blk striped shirts back in '03.) (also, i see discussion regarding the MM2020 vinyl...does anyone happen to know the amount pressed for the original 2011 run on blue marble? that's the pressing i have and i cant find numbers for it anywhere.)
