That would be crazy cool🤘

eh, I really didn't care for the MGK record. I listened to one of the songs out of curiosity since it had the licensed bit from the one OPIV song, but it really didn't tickle my fancy. Honestly surprised there's crossover between them and folks on this board, but to each their own

Is it, though? I mean, among Green Day fans yes, but in general? It didn’t do very well on streaming and most sales were from preorders (which points to fans contributing to sales before it came out, then it fell down the charts quickly)... we didn’t even get many new members on here... does it have a cult following of tweens that we ancient 20somethings don’t know about? I genuinely wouldn’t know - I don’t even have tiktok or actively use IG

The eleven and twelve year olds love it. (But of course, they're new fans and they're in the bubblegum stage where they love everything Green Day does).

It screamed “boomer” and that’s why it didn’t do well. Surprisingly, young people don’t give a shit about old rockstars tiredly pretending a rebellious party. It would be a lot better to just do their thing and incorporate some currently popular elements (which Ivankkka is a lot closer to than FOAM is).

This 100%

Ivankkka got a precise collocation with the elections coming. It's not really commercial but it could become viral as Anti-Trump

Who listens to Green Day? I thought we were talking about The Network.

What is a Green Day?

When is Green Day?

How does one listen to a Green Day?

That’s cool. Good to know the young fans still exist! :P

ahah It is not obviously for every taste because It's quite modern even as Pop Punk but give it another chance maybe, It's not even that bad. Main problem It's his voice, it works but not for everyone. I personally like his mono-note singing style ahah

I was 8 years old when the first album came out and didn't learn about The Network until probably 2009. I'm pretty stoked that we're getting another album!

Is the lineup the exact same as it was in 2003?

Sitting in my office with my jaw dropped.  LOVE IT!

Also, it's too bad the GDC awards aren't going on now because @HAPPY ROOTING UNICORN would totally win again now.

Bad timing, my life motto 39.gif

I think baladuci was only a touring member in 2003, but he seems to be in the videos now

I think this song is the best so far. I don’t get how some people think it’s ‘cringe’ and seen some comments saying they rushed it for the election, I guess people didn’t except political lyrics from them. The vibes and everything fit perfectly for me!

U should give the whole album a chance, or at least “title track” there are some great lyrics in that song

Are we for sure getting a full album?

the video description for "the prophecy" says so. "money money 2020 pt. 2"

idk if that's a working title.

pretty sure. they said something about Money Money 2020 part II in the prophecy video, right? and we have at least enough songs for an EP at this point

1. The Prophecy (We're Right, You're Wrong)

2. Tarantula

3. Ivankkka Is A Nazi

4. The Ultimate Test (maybe????)

If this song leaked with no context so many people would be like “no way is that Billie singing!”

I was just thinking this as well

The proper Network sound is there for this.

I would say TUT sounds a lot more like Billie than this.

I also missed it, because I was introduced to Green Day between American Idiot and 21st CBD, so I'm excited to see a new The Network album, while I'm a fan!
