OK, thanks. I mean, to me the singing doesn't really sound like Billie, but wasn't Billie reposting some of this stuff himself? That wouldn't make any sense if it was fake. He wouldn't promote someone else's stuff LOL.

About the poll, at first it didn't quite sound like Billie in that song (to me) but I didn't say anything because lately he's been singing really high and sort of different, and with the "network" filter it ended up sounding like it does. I don't know. You're confusing me guys.

Still constantly relistening to the song and my brain hurts.

Sounds less and less like Billie each time but everything else about the song is so Green Day. Some of those little guitar lead parts in the chorus are straight out of 21CB. And the drums are Tre style no question. In a world where MOOTIK never happened I wouldn't even be questioning whether this is real

Just force yourself to give it a few more listens. Trust me. The chorus isn't an instantly catchy one, but my goodness do I have this song firmly lodged in my head at all times now. 

Honestly think it is the most well crafted song from them since Forever Now. That's why I highly doubt it's fake. It takes a special band to construct a song this great all round. And for each individual part to sound as professional as it does.

It is a great song and everything about it screams Green Day. I think it is them even if it is someone other than Billie singing (though I am feeling more and more like it is him). And as I said before, I doubt he would be publicizing this on social media if it was not at all connected to Green Day LOL.

So if it’s a fake what you’re claiming is someone on September 10 (the anniversary of the FOAM release) decided to post a song that really doesn’t sound like a typical Network song but sounds a lot like Green Day, claiming it is indeed the Network and they are returning some time beginning October with a new album announcement (per the origjnal note). Then lo and behold, although they have been MIA and not talked about for 17 years, The Network actually do return in October and announce an album.  So you’re saying they got lucky with all that and the song is fake?

That would be some Svengali shit right there.  Because if the song is fake you need to explain everything that goes with it that is verifiably correct.

I mean, the song just isn't them. For all I know the video description was changed when The Prophecy came out. If it always stated their return in October, then yeah, huge coincidence. But stranger things have happened!
