I would have enjoyed a song called Hungry Hungry Hippos more

I'm just imagining hungry (hungry) hippos on the runway.

Roshambo is the best song. I love the title track as well as Spike, Super Model Robots, Reto, Hammer of the Gods, Teenagers From Mars, and Spastic Society. Basically I love them all except for Hungry Hungry Models and X-Ray Hamburger.

2003: The Network release their masterpiece, as obviously non-Americans who are very smart.

2004: The Green Days release The American Idiots, in which the lead singer Billie "Strong Arm" Joe declares he doesn't want to be an American/idiot.

Can't be a coincidence. He envied their smart, non-American ways so much he wrote an album about it.

Roshambo is great, but I also really X-Ray Hamburger for its weirdness and just love Hammer Of The Gods for Billie’s ethereal backing vocals.  Spike is probably my least favourite. Great album, weird and witty, play it pretty often and so happy there is more to come.

Excited for this new song :woot:

The 10/10 grade A songs on Money Money 2020 are: Supermodel Robots, Spike, Roshambo, Right Hand a Rama, Reto and Teenagers From Mars. Ivankkka is a Nazi will also be on the 10/10 list.

What is "Hungry Hungry Models"?    Is is related to "Hungry Hungry" somehow?    :)

I might've missed the joke or whatever from earlier discussion but on the Money Money 2020 CD and the Disease is Punishment DVD it's called Hungry Hungry Models.

I am looking at mine at it says "Hungry Hungry".     Could I possibly have a misprint, worth trillions?

or am I right?

you're wrong

I'm right

you're wrong

and I told you so.

Either way.   :)

So I'm looking at images online and so far I can't find one like mine.    Interesting.

Okay, finally came across a site that has it listed as "Hungry Hungry"   no images still.

There's apparently 13 different prints of the album and some of them have "Models" in the title and some don't.

Very weird.

I'm seeing some credits for the album I've never seen before.   Some of them Green Day related and some totally unfamiliar.  Techs, additional vocalists and the like.    More on that later, I must go day job now.

Also, I'm seeing there really aren't many copies of this album out there.   There's two between ebay and google, one for 154 and the other for 7.99.

I've often wondered if Roshambo was a track from Cigarettes & Valentines that they just tweaked a little to give it that Network sound. One of the lyrics is even "I don't believe in valentines".

It's one of the most Green Day sounding songs from that album if you strip away the effects and slight weirdness. I can imagine a more theatrical version of it appearing as an American Idiot B Side or something.

Ever since I saw this photo I had the theory that Roshambo was a different version of track 10, "the end of the world", they're even the same length...

So uhh.. I don't know if anyone pointed this out yet but my friend @immctntjk123 discovered that you can actually hear "Ashley" backing vocals in the beginning of "Ivankkka Is A Nazi" (just after the countdown).

I have no idea how I didn't notice it before but hey, it's definitely there so Green Day need to sue the hell out of these guys!!!

I remember thinking this on release day, I heard that vocal bit but I couldn't remember which trilogy song it was reminding me of and didn't care enough to re listen to those three records and figure it out haha. Thank you for doing that.

My 2011 Adeline Blue vinyl copy has "Hungry Hungry" and my original 2003-4 cd has "Hungry Hungry Models" (this version is also before Teenagers/HOTG were added).

Weirdest thing on this discogs listing (the first European one) "This release has been blocked from sale in the marketplace. It is not permitted to sell this item on Discogs."

Threat Level has me more excited about the record, even although it's just Chasing a Ghost and Sugar Youth combined. Seems like Billie is using different vocal filters than back on the last Network record. I kind of prefer the older ones; these sound very muffled.
