There’s no way TUT would be more of a stylistic adventure than Ivankkka even if it was real. It’s a standard rock song - a fun one at that, but it would be nothing out of GD’s comfort zone. It’s just that it’s the kind of a fast and energetic rock song that they might come up with and it still sounds fresh. I love Ivankkka, though. I still wish it was released as Green Day.

I really liked (and still like TUT) and felt it was real, but I kinda want to be like "I told you all so" because I knew it wasn't Billie singing LOL.

All of the evidence was against it being real, I’m so happy that is over 😂

True, but at least the full song really exists this time and I‘m happy that I could buy it on iTunes 😄

I honestly would love to get kicked out and then have someone send me fake green day songs so I could pretend they don’t suck.

Well tbh I think the chords after „too many years since you’ve been gone“ in the chorus would have been very unusual for Green Day, because they sort of slow down the energy of the song right in the middle of the chorus 😅

 I thought that was a little departure from the formula to make it more interesting!

Well... this is embarrasing 😭 Well, thank god I liked Ivankkka (and most of FOAM tbh) more than any of the leaks, but I do know a lot of old school fans are gonna cry themselves to sleep knowing the guys are not going for a classic rock sound after all.

I do genuinely think Ivankkka is a Nazi is one (if not the most) experimental output the band has ever done, in terms of lyrics, song structure, instrumentals and even vocals, so I'm super excited about this album and I truly hope they keep going out of their comfort zone in the future. Bring out the synths, you cowards!

This. I wouldn’t say a word if they were experimenting like this as Green Day, but their keeping the interesting stuff for side projects makes me think good straightforward rock songs are the best I can hope for. (I like FOAM, but I wouldn’t say it’s experimental.)

Turns out, Billie’s self-esteem can take a lot and that shouldn’t surprise us!

It really is an opportunity to go nuts sonically.

The Ulitmate Test is real!
