The Network is back!

Honestly, I'm pretty happy that those are not songs by The Network or Green Day. "The Ultimate Test" was the only one I really liked and I like the 2 actual The Network songs better anyway. I'll still probably give that other band a listen, though.

Wait so Ivankkka is A Nazi is also by Viva Death? Like also The Prophecy and Tarantulas

No. Those are actual The Network songs.

The songs that were posted (and removed) by the church YouTube are by Viva Death.

to be fair, it's probably really funny to them.

I’m imagining BJA like a bored vain emperor who only gets to feel a little bit of emotion when he can make someone suffer

Lmao shout out to the other 59 people who voted correctly in the poll

It's probably just amusing to see even more confusion than they planned on. Also it's not disappointing to me, just means if there's an album there's more room on it for better songs.

Yeah I guess it boils down to whether or not you liked it better than the real songs. I did.

I can’t find it when I search but when I go to my subscribed channels it’s still there.  Are the lawyers in battle?

I will get to work writing the kosher version.

Also, I am seeing a lot of nonsense about the songs confirmed to be someone else.  Even if it is this other band, we do not know they aren't the Network.  So don't fall for that bs.

God damn. Well, it's a tough pill to swallow and admit I was wrong. Got to say I'm genuinely pretty gutted TUT and Are You Listening aren't either of GD or Network. Both bloody awesome songs. Maybe it's just me longing for Green Day to be a bit more outside the box of what we expect these days. I still love IIAN, so at least there's that.

I still think the singer of Viva Death sounds loads like a pitched down Billie.

Have we worked out what song The Countdown's On is yet? Doesn't seem to be a Viva Death song, and go ogling the lyrics doesn't seem to bring anything up for me. I'm really keen to hear that in full too cos it sounds amazing, whoever it is.

Yes, it’s time to move on. Green Day isn’t the band they used to be.

The Ultimate Test is NOT the Network. It’s actually called “Sound the Alarm” by the band Viva Death. We can put this to rest and focus on the REAL Network songs now :) Sorry to burst the bubble!

The other two “leaked” songs are also by this band

Wait wtf, so this song has already been there for TWO years😂😂

I don’t mind being wrong (there has to be a first time! :Pand the songs are no worse for being by another band, but I’m sad that this has had an influence over  this actual Network thing. If it wasn’t for TUT, I wouldn’t get as hyped. Ivankkka is an awesome song though. I listened to it three times, but had TUT on repeat.

Do you really think TUT is more “outside the box” than IIAN or any of the previews from The Network we’ve heard so far; TUT is a pretty unremarkable, bog-standard rock song to me and I’m personally glad none of the VD songs are The Network or Green Day.

But then I think FOAM is actually a great album so what do I know....

I’m just pleased you can count on one GD project/side-project never sounding exactly like the last (ahem Foo Fighters), or at least always trying to go somewhere new.

The Network has always been my favourite GD side-project so really looking forward to what’s coming next.

Hello fellow FOAM enjoyer.

I also agree with everything you've stated here, except I'm more of a Foxies side project fan.
