The squeal was hot (at this point I may or may not be baiting people LOL).

If I'm remembering it correctly, I thought it was fine. Just kind of funny.

I think he’s often just trying to pump himself up when he does those things. I’ve noticed that a lot this past year where the energy of the crowd has been lame and he’ll scream or call an audible just to bring the energy he needs the crowd isn’t giving him.  So in conclusion, if we’re doing our jobs he doesn’t need to weird scream 😜

His banshee shriek definitely isn't as appealing as his xenomorph (Letterbomb) screech, but it's still something.

@Beerjeezus I'm really curious how Billie feels about large spiders. Seems like most people don't care for them or are downright scared. I'm one of those odd ducks that will actually walk over to a huge spider and pick it up. I had a spider living in my shower for a few months and I named her Shelob. I was kind of sad when she left. :(

The Letterbomb shriek is really something though, classic Billie moment.

Caution : Sleep Deprived Moron Crackup!.

It's the perfect blend of Warning, Insomniac, Idiot and Breakdown.

I'm game for anything Green Day release.    Demolicious is my least favorite thing from them, but even it is good.  My problem with that one is that Green Day are so good at what they do, the demo's sounded almost exactly the same as the finished product.    It's not "Oh Love" started a polka song and evolved from there.  But anyway.

If Green Day were going to make a true sequel record, Insomniac would not be my first choice.

This would need to be a natural process.   Not them going into the studio to make "NIMROD 2", and trying to reproduce the same vibe.     They go into the studio to work on new music and as they are recording, they realize the vibe is taking them back to a certain era.    and then they feed into that and go full on in that direction.     It could happen.

So what record would I want, if it were to happen like that?  American Idiot is my favorite, but I believe that was a once in a lifetime thing.  Probably not going to happen again.   Breakdown was kind of a reaction to American Idiot, so I don't think that would happen either.

I prefer newer Green Day to early, so I wouldn't really want a return to stuff before 1997.  Warning is one of their greatest records, but I don't think they will try and mine that sound again.

The albums released from 2012 to present are too new to rehash in this wonderful decade of the Roaring 20s.

So Nimrod is my choice, because 2020 Green Day were really experimenting with different sounds and styles again.  They could potentially make a record with that feeling again.

Total agreement on Demolicious; the first time I heard it I couldn't even believe it was demo tapes LOL.

It's basically Uno with a few extra tunes thrown in.

I do enjoy "State of Shock" and that weird, acoustic "Stay the Night".

I honestly I hate the part 2 album questions and statements. WTF does a part 2 to Insomniac even mean? Sound? Lyrical content? Also, why? Insomniac's done. Just move ahead.
