I'm positive I had heard American Idiot first, but watching them play Holiday live before the album came out....it was the moment I KNEW something great was happening. Lots of great tunes here....I am not a huge fan of East Jesus Nowhere, or Revolution Radio. They are okay, but all the others are awesome. East Jesus Nowhere is my username! Not sure if it's my favorite but it's a top 10 song no doubt.

Honestly holiday is mainly on there because one of my best friends played it to me and it completely blew my mind and as a result I got obsessed with green day. I first heard Rev rad and EJN a while ago but hearing them both again recently has reminded me how much I love them (like I said probably tomorrow that list will have changed though)

Thatsername
What's so hard about making a list like this is the fact that I have favorite GD songs and favorite GD live songs, and they are not neccessarily exactly the same (for example: I wouldn't list King for a Day in my top-10 songs, but it's definitely one of my top-3 songs live). Also, it keeps changing depending on my mood. Right now, my ranking is (in no particular order): - Still Breathing (It helped me through a very, very dark time, I have a deep connection to this song I can't even explain logically) - Whatsername (Best album closer they ever made) - J.A.R. (I love how happy-sad it sounds and I can relate to the lyrics a lot) - Letterbomb (The energy of this song is breathtaking) - Forever Now (Some of Billie's most honest and strongest lyrics ever, it's giving me the chills) - Brutal Love (Billie's voice is beyond beautiful in this song) - Hitchin A Ride (I love how this song is building up to its climax, it's one of their best songs live too) - Graffitia (The song has so much potential and I love it a lot, I wish it was longer - it could have been the Jesus of Suburbia or the Forever Now of FOAM) - Stuart and the Ave (This song is just pure Green Day for me) - 21 Guns (Perfect song from start to finish! And the piano part in the live version - I'm dying)
