I’m excited ngl at the possibility of having new music sooner than usual. Long eras and 3+ year gaps in between albums is becoming dated, especially now in the streaming era (though it still works for a band like Green Day who have already established themselves). As long as they don’t feel too pressured I’m all for it.

It's the amount of time it takes to properly write, record, promote and tour a record. Its the same for pretty much every artist that tours the world. 

I wonder if the free time that the postponed Hella Mega has given has sped this up? Doubt they'd be recording in-between dates if they were still touring.

Yeah it seemed so real. I mean Panicland have literally placed some random bits of a conversation between them and Billie Joe and we fell for it anyways. Like "omg grun day just trnna fool us in2 thinkin dat!!" It's funny in retrospect

I agree. And I’m not implying they need to be pumping out new music all the time by any means (I’m against that if anything). Just saying that nowadays in the streaming age it’s easier for an artist to drop new music.

If it’s any consolation, I really like both albums.  Where did Panicland go though? They said they were releasing another song from MOOTIK and then disappeared. They were doing IG lives up until a few weeks ago.

No they weren’t but Braedon was playing new songs and said he was gonna release another. He was really active on IG in the beginning of the shutdown doing hour long lives they were great and then he disappeared.
