Which tweet are you talking about I couldn’t find one that hinted at a rock and roll surprise but I do see they added the Rolling Stones to the lineup so that could be it.

They have so many artists participating now that this is going to be shown in two parts - a livestream online from 2-8pm and then a TV broadcast from 8-10. They’re not releasing a lineup so to catch Billie you’ll basically have to sit in front of your screen for eight hours now 😤

It's a good thing! It's gonna be a great concert. I'm not watching it for Billie only. A lot of great artists tomorrow!

Okay so according to this it lists broadcast performances separate from streaming performances and Billie is still listed as a broadcast performer so phew! Great that he snagged a coveted TV spot in this, even with rock music gone underground.

I think it just boils down to Mike and Tre really enjoying having the amount of down time they do, especially with young children.

This is exactly it. Two different places in life as parents. Billie Joe's kids are 20+, are in the music industry themselves and Billie Joe's house is like the base of all these bands for practices and stuff. Billie is locked up right now with no young kids to watch and nothing to really do... he's gonna play music all day.

With Mike and Tre they both have young kids and they're all at home. There's no school and I imagine they're helping their wives cook, clean and entertain. I'm not saying they're playing 0% there is just a bigger task at hand that's taken priority. Good for them!  People don't see what being a musician really is. It's hard to maintain a family with the line of work they are in and it can drain them emotionally when they go on long tours and stuff.

Not sure how exactly they separate the artists but I think seems like more ‘solid’ or well-known ones on TV broadcast but I was happy that I could watch it before midnight at least :ermm:

I wonder if the fact that they just released ITWAN on all streaming platforms today is a sign that he plans to play this tomorrow 🙏

It was this one but it’s now been overtaken by the RS news I guess.

Also remember Mike and Tre both split from their first families mums so I can quite see they want to spend the time together now,  Billie was there as much as possible.

Yes both had marriages that didn't work out but both seem to have one that's working for them now. We can't rag on them for wanting what we get and take for granted on a daily basis. I was a child of a parent who worked in international business. I know what it's like to be the kid who's dad is away for work and just counting the days until they come back.

So I’m guessing they’re gonna show everyone on the stream, and the “best of” on TV?

I found out today while I was catching up on Colbert that he, Jimmy Fallon, and Jimmy Kimmel are hosting it. That's pretty cool!

This afternoon streaming will not be so excited . I will listen to it anyway, with a couple of beers. And tonight I'm gonna be very very very drunk for the big show.

Can somebody help me figure out how to capture video from LiveXLive.com before the big show? It’s the best quality webstream I can find, and my usual capturing method isn’t working.

There is nothing tomorrow. Right now on YouTube it's the streaming. Tonight it will be on ABC with BJA.

Edit: sorry I forgot about your timezone

Guys I am watching live now on Amazon Prime!  Adam Lambert just destroyed a great song, did Tears for Fears Mad World and it was abysmal!  Waiting for BJA, don’t think he was listed in first hour.

oh thanks guys :D it's not even a timezone issue, I just got confused with how they added so many artists and assumed they split the broadcast into two days lol
