Anyone know if the CD is an online exclusive only? Was it released in stores aswell or only on the website?

I've seen them on ebay too

Seeing lots of reviews, all positive to really positive but I like this one for the sentence about being a master class in the from from a true connoisseur!  Also, the Network comment 😁

Hahaha! That last paragraph 😂😂

I'll do an unboxing video when mine comes in.  Fighting the urge to run out and buy this at my local record shop.

Screw pre orders.  More like post orders.  Never pre ordering again, freaking bullcrap.  Gotta be freaking kidding me, this is a joke!  Look at the tracking number up there? 3-4 days after release?

Seriously though.  Screw preorders. Done.

I feel your pain,  I had a big row by email with Warner’s over Uno.  Ordered it as it was “guaranteed deliver” on the release date, took the better part of another week to get to me!

I bet the cd will have a pretty booklet and I want to punch Billie for not making this release worldwide :) (as far as I know. because obviously this is special like Demolitious)

The booklet is just a single folded page.  Pretty spare.  The most frustrating thing about it is the way the liner notes are printed you can barely read them.

Ow.

Doesn't change the fact I'd buy it if I could

I like the sound quality over compressed streaming so it was still worth it to me but it was cheaper at Amazon I didn't pay full price

Well I bought it in a shop here in New Zealand yesterday, so I think it's a pretty big release.

This is the first time I've pre-ordered something from GD tbh.
I only did it because I thought it was a limited release through the site - and when I saw it was sold out on the American site, I got spooked and bought it off the UK.

I know the glow cover art will be different, but next time I'll probs just hit up my local record shop that had lots of the blue indie version. Sometimes they even get the albums early (I remember getting UNO on vinyl almost a week before it was released).

The usps tracking is not good.

It doesn't give me any location, it's just always 'in transit through The Network'

Those masked bastards have my blue vinyl.

I'm going to meet them out in the desert for a showdown. The winner gets No Fun Mondays and Cigarettes and Valentines.

If there is a wondering film crew in the area we could film me defeating The Network for their next video.

When you've lost all hope and excuses

And cheapskates and the losers

Nothing is left to clinge onto

You gotta wait

You gotta wait

Wait for the mailman.

Lol

I have hope that my Monday 9pm delivery will come earlier.

Waiting for the mail is one of the worst things, especially when they give an specific date.

Yeah, you gotta hold on 😁

The blue vinyl I ordered from the GD site still hasn’t been shipped yet. They can be really bad at getting things out on time!

Anyone know how many of the blue indie store version were pressed? I'm guessing that's different than what the GD web store sold as their exclusive.

I pre-ordered FOAM 5 months before it was released and didn't get it until 2 months to the day after the album came out.

I am going to listen to all the original albums these songs are from.  I'll let you guys know which songs or albums are worth digging into.

I think Kids of America is my favourite track on there ... and listening to the original (which I wasn’t familiar with) I couldn’t have imagined it being much more different! But also cool ... in its very 80s way! :P

That's one of my least favourites 😋.  Billie Joe's verison is growing on me though.

After driving myself insane about which album to tackle for I Think We're Alone Now,  I decided to go with the original.  Tiffany is cool, but Tommy James is more my speed.

Some sites have Billie as a songwriter on Whole Wide World, but the lyrics are identical in every way.

Did he create a new melody or guitar part or something?
