They'll put it up for pre order as soon as they get it. Guess I'll just keep checking. I still think it's annoying that they mentioned the CD and not only was the link not posted to their store til late yesterday, the other links aren't even ready. Therefore, I'm from Chile so the shipping is really expensive and FOAM is incredibly expensive wherever I want to buy it, here or outside Chile... even eBay!! Whatever... I have been in love with the compact disc my entire life, but there will come a day when they are no more. I've been streaming for some time, and I'm trying to rely on that more than physical media or mp3s. I've also been thinking of getting a record player again and get the releases I want on vinyl. So I'm a physical media junkie. But here's the thing. When I spend my hard earned money on a physical copy, I'm spending that money for the booklet and all the cool things that may be contained in said booklet. If I spend 13-30 dollars on an album and the book is poorly made or god forbid, JUST A COVER WITH NOTHING ELSE INSIDE OR THE BACK, I am out of that money and angry. I'm paying for the experience, not the music that can be literally pulled out of thin air. If artists or record companies want us to buy physical media, and I'm not sure if they do or not, they need to put something inside that is worth spending money on. Do something different with the booklets. Put something really wild in there to look at. I want to buy No Fun Mondays, but I'm worried the packaging will be just the cover and nothing more. Foxboro Hot Tubs had nothing to look at, and the Longshot didn't even GET a compact disc release, but it's hard to say. I hope with this being the first BILLIE JOE ARMSTRONG record that some thought it put into the packaging, and it's really awesome. Thanks a bunch! since amoeba is carrying it, im gonna say yes. there are links for other sources now live for preorder on both formats. go to your local shop and tell 'em you want it. i'm sure they'd be happy to order a copy for you. does anyone know if the GD store enforced a 1 per customer rule when ordering? 'cause if anyone happened to pick up an extra copy, id REALLY like to get that glow in the dark cover. i'll give you what you paid + shipping.. (im in the US) and my eternal thanks.
