So if I could get those back and spend later that's fine, but no way am I going anywhere for a long time. Generally I agree though, but I their reasoning for it is probably to keep customers and not go bankrupt. I hope I can get most of it back from travel insurance. Time will tell. Hope it works out for you as well. Norwegian are getting a huge loan so they should manage.

It would be like 50,000 people + something I haven't seen them do live in person yet and this is the only large venue I haven't seen them in locally. I've seen them 4 times if I see them this year or next year it's not a big difference for me. I do feel bad for those who planned to go and it's their first GD concert. My friend is in that boat and I feel for him. He's been a fan even longer than me so you know he was excited for it. I'm not fussed to be honest. The bigger the show the harder it is to reschedule 1 hour ago, alexander_seiter said: I also think (or hope) that they don't cancel the shows. It would be my first Green Day concert and I looked forward to it. Think you'll be waiting. Ive got tickets for a gig the day before and received an email essentially saying it'll be cancelled but they're going to wait a month before they confirm it

A non baseball day. Also our stadium closes so technically could be done in the winter.

I have to say, I think the Europe dates will likely be cancelled and really, I’d rather just see GD than the Hella Mega but it could have been fun. Because after a couple of days they've send us a code via mail, right? Don't remember 😂 Maybe they should cancelled the shows as we still don't know when postponed them. alexander_seiter
I hope they will at least release some new music because of the quarantine. NOFX already did it and we know Green Day has a few more songs ready to release.

You didn’t have to but the instructions were so confusing and I was so paranoid I did in order to get the earliest presale time slot. The free ones sounded like they could have been an hour later and I wasn’t taking chances. I know I’m crazy 😜

Hermione
Like, even if they could somehow go ahead (which they obviously can't) I wouldn't be able to afford the travel/hotel expenses now. So they should hurry up . Lucky it's the GD show I've been looking forward to least to date anyway.

Ross_19
Guess all this might make them regret not doing any shows in the run up to the album, since they won't be playing any shows until mid to late summer at this rate
GuitarPunk94
why dont they do a livestream of them playing their songs in their room/basement and collect money for some organizations who need the money to fight against the virus? many bands could use their fame and popularity right now to fight against this shit
solongfromthestars
Yeah, I want them to just refund me now. Lots of people aren't able to work and need all the money they can get. Wouldn't mind if I never heard of Hella Mega again

Could you just see something like this with Mike and Tre’s kids or Billie's dogs? 😍

killjoywhatsername
Welp. I got my hella mega tickets in the mail today. My first words were “I wish they’d just refund me and get it over with” though the more I think about it, the more it might be the first time I get to go to a concert this year? And I’m one of the few that like all the bands so maybe it’ll be great.

This is an unprecedented circumstance that is massively impacting millions of people's lives. Someone who unexpectedly can't afford to live getting a little help from a refunded ticket > a millionaire rock band filling a few less seats But like, they are going to postpone. So they should just get on with it.
