pacejunkie punk
So if our Hella Mega tickets get refunded most of us pre-ordered the album and bundles for nothing 🙄 Then how will everyone buy tickets again without their presale codes? 😠 I bought six tickets to go with family and friends to see two shows. If this all gets cancelled and I have to do it again I’ve already decided I’m buying one ticket for myself and that’s it.
Beerjeezus
I’d say maybe the US has a chance Hella Mega could still happen and then we could get a normal tour in Fall/Spring 2021?

But 80% sick or hospitalized wont happen, looking at the current research. Qaurantine or not. People wont get that sick. It is terrible and in no way "less worth" that it affects the elderly and/or people who are already sick. But the rest? No, it wont be that bad. I worry, not for getting sick, but for being able to survive the madness this is causing. Madness caused by fear, and I am not immune to it either. I am sorry if I expressed myself in a way that caused you harm but I am drowning. I am not heartless or naive, but we have a crisis a long side of a whole lot of crazy. Oh boy oh boy all of what you just said is completely wrong ...are you actually for real? Ok Im in Ireland. We have shut schools and universities a week ago. We have made bars and cafes close and many other places have shut because the crowds would be too big. We are currently one of the best countries in Europe for testing people per capita and we are taking this very very seriously. 80% wont happen? Oh really Im sure youa re in the know alright....''people wont get that sick'' WRONG. In fact more younger people are falling seriously ill because of this because they wont stay the fuck indoors. And it is already that bad. You are extremely naive judging by your comments. And I so not apologise for calling you out on it.

Guest
I'm surprised they still haven't cancelled. Just a matter of time now, whenever I see a new post from them I just think here we go.. I hope the new dates here in Scandinavia will take place in the spring or summer time 'cause queueing in the winter here really fucking sucks. Ideally the show in Sweden should be april 9th 2021 to give me the best birthday ever

herewegoagain
Well I sure feel smort for finally booking my travel right inbetween our first few cases and when all hell broke loose There's no way the European leg is going ahead with how it's looking at the moment, I wish they'd just cancel so I can try to get some money back. Ugh, that sucks! I get it though, seems like most people had no idea this would turn so serious and so soon. I'm also just waiting for the official announcement so I can at least try to get some of my money back. I'll probably lose all of it I've spent on train tickets but hopefully for my very expensive flights I can either get a refund, or at least rebook it if they give us a new date. Not holding my breath for that one though as I'm sure it'll take quite a while before they decide on new dates.

Yeah it's just horrible timing, although I'm struggling to feel super sad or invest a lot of energy in it right now, the way my life & the world is. Honestly I'd rather it was just postponed indefinitely/cancelled for now because fuck knows how the world will even look or work in 6/9/12 months. Idk which airline you're with but from what I could understand Norwegian only refund in cashpoints which are valid until the end of the year, but I can't imagine feeling like flying for a while anyway

As I've said 100 times before though, covid-19 could affect me in way worse ways than some cancelled shows. It still sucks though. I was so excited for this and saved up for over a year to be able to afford these two shows. Without any reimbursement for my flights, which were 1/3 of my monthly income, I most likely won't afford it once they come back. Oh well. Hopefully we'll get an announcement from the boys soon. I feel the same way. Not gonna lie, I'm pretty heartbroken over this but there's so much other shit to worry about which takes away from it. I may be the minority here but I'm willing to wait till 2021 to see them in this specific venue that it was scheduled in. It would be like 50,000 people + something I haven't seen them do live in person yet and this is the only large venue I haven't seen them in locally. I've seen them 4 times if I see them this year or next year it's not a big difference for me. I do feel bad for those who planned to go and it's their first GD concert. My friend is in that boat and I feel for him. He's been a fan even longer than me so you know he was excited for it.

We even don't know how it will work with local band when this quarantine moment will end, imagine with a band like Green Day. Even if there wasn't Weezer and Fall Out Boy, there would be a huge crowd 6 minutes ago, Beerjeezus said: I'm warning everybody, if I survive the plague only to still have to see Fall Out Boy live, I will snap. Normally I'd welcome it because I spent all mine saved up over 2+ years & some money on top. So if I could get those back and spend later that's fine, but no way am I going anywhere for a long time. Generally I agree though, but I their reasoning for it is probably to keep customers and not go bankrupt. 2 minutes ago, Beerjeezus said: I'm warning everybody, if I survive the plague only to still have to see Fall Out Boy live, I will snap. You're overlooking the fact they're the weakest of all bands on Hella Mega. They will not survive. They are weak. Green Day is strong.
