Ahahha wow he really care about his fans.

Wattie is fucking nuts. I liked The Exploited and what they did over the years but then Wattie talks and it's like listening to Johnny Rotten if he was even more fucked up.

Also, the whole "we're not GD" thing makes you sound like a pop star not a punk.

Anyways, Wattie should just stick to being a UK grandpa, FOAMF's first week of sales is more than The Exploited's lifetime sales lol

Well, I just heard President Dickhead wants to possibly institute a travel ban on both Washington state and California. Nobody goes in and nobody goes out. If it goes through, that means the boys won't be going anywhere and neither will I. I'm supposed to have family coming from Illinois at the end of the month. 🤷‍♀️ He wants to use his state of emergency power to do it.

I guess our governor spoke with Pence (who's idiotically been put in charge of coronavirus) and he said that Trump hadn't brought it up to him.

I am thinking like, maybe they will postpone the whole tour and restart it from Asia in the sequence of the dates that were already scheduled. Maybe end of September or October depending on how much time it takes for this to blow over? Let's just see.

I wondered if they might add the Asia dates on to the Australian leg of the tour (of course if it has blown over by then - hopefully it will have)

What's the # of cases in both regions? I mean if it's getting bad I can understand the lockdown.

Well that's good news. I think August a little far in advance right now to be cancelling for. I could understand April and May.

However, if this situation doesn't clear up I'm fully anticipating the date to be postponed.

I have tickets for august as well. I'm trying to be optimistic that it will go on as planned, but I also just texted my bestie today to tell her I wasn't going to travel to see them in late May because of the current situation (she's pregnant and due next month - so possible illness contracted in airports + new baby = not a good idea).

Yeah not a good idea at all. I have a pre-existing condition so I'm iffy on this whole thing.

I just hope it clears up sometime in the spring. Right now I'm in a weird living situation. My place is under construction and I live with an elderly person.

Just trying my best to isolate especially cause she has heart conditions, diabetes and just recovered from a flu.

The festival I’m (supposed to be) seeing GD at was moved to June from July because of them... the organizers thought it was a great business move. :ninja:

I wonder what are those The Network pricks doing? What is the agenda behind the conspiracious "Money Money 2020" title? And I heard that Fink is sleeping with Billie's wife. This can't be a coincidence.

All, be safe. I want to come on this forum more in coming days- I’m honestly feeling a bit isolated. Our schools are closed, I’ve been working from home over a week, and our whole school system and families have been told to quarantine since kids in the school tested positive. So with no friends to mingle with and the kids cooped up we’re kind of losing our minds. It’s amazing  to realize how important social interaction is to mental health when you lose it. It’s nowhere near as extreme, but now I can see how solitary confinement causes people to become completely unhinged.

The scary thing is- how long does this go on? In the US it seems like this is the very beginning. That’s possibly just my doomsayer perspective- some of my earlier posts from weeks ago were pretty pessimistic- but I think it gets a lot worse before it starts to get better.

Trying to stay on point, I mentioned some time ago that the US tour had a gradually increasing chance of being postponed or canceled. We shall see what the future holds, but it’s going to be harder to execute a tour by every day. Not only does this need to come under control by the tour, but they’ll need a couple months in advance to get logistics rolling and make the call to continue the tour. I don’t know if that happens.

I do think it would be smart and wonderful if they decided to share a couple live streams of virtual shows- maybe a HellaMega live show and a deep cut club show (like they did for the Hurricane Harvey benefit). I think that would be a fantastic way to generate buzz, positive feelings, and us fans something to enjoy and chat about here.

it makes a ton of sense in every way. Here’s hoping for a virtual show or two while we all make it through this whole thing!

I've been working from home for 2 years. Trust me just give it a few more weeks. Interaction is overrated.

Ha, I get the sentiment. But working from home and having the freedom to still socialize whenever one chooses is a bit different from mandatorily being in one place 24/7, particularly with little kids that can’t leave to play or socialize with others. You may have little kids too and may know what I’m saying. They’ll rip your face off after being penned up in the house for a one day snowstorm. Open ended quarantining is likely going to be worse!

I'm ill I don't really get the freedom to socialize as a normal person would. I'm just kinda used to it.

I don't need people for entertainment at this point.

Social distancing is easier for us introverts but then it’s only day two for us so ask me in 4 weeks 🤪

Not bad enough to warrant a travel ban. As of about 3 hours ago: 247 in CA and around 570 in WA. It's higher here probably because we were the first in the US to get it.

This is so true. But thanks God we're in the social media era and you can call your friends on Facebook Messanger or Whatsapp doing a livechat.
It seems in Italy now everyone is doing a livechat, famous people, friends

He hates California because liberals, though. So I highly doubt he would make any decision like this based entirely on logic.

He also said we had the virus “very much under control” when we didn’t even have test kits.
