In this interview Tre confirms that the Green Day sets on the Hella Mega tour are going to be shorter by saying
"Our set's not going to be like a 3 hour thing, you know. So it's going to be... concise, you know."
when asked if he still occasionally plays a bit of guitar during shows.

Looking at the line-up I knew the set was going to be shorter, but it still hurts to hear it :(.

I wonder how it'll be like on the festivals. Last time I saw them in 2017, it was a festival but they still basically played a full set with like 25+ songs. This year I'll see them on another festival and I wonder if the set will be longer or 'only' about 90 minutes, which will probably be how long they'll play on the tour, since Weezer and Fallout Boy need time, too :D

My guess is they're doing 90 minutes regardless of other bands, what's the likelihood of gd changing their setlist for some shows?

Maybe it's going to be concise at gigs with Interrupters, Weezer and Fall Out Boys?
In Milan there will be only Weezer so I hope to listen to the guys for at least 2 h 30

Maybe a similar set to the Sevillie show? Think that was about 95 minutes

Me too man, or at least 2 hours.

Even if they're older there's no sign that they're slowing down, so I guess that the only limit is the number of band.

They've played 2h 30 last time and it was a festival so I'm surprised if this time they play less, since it's their own show

Yep I saw them in Lucca in 2017 and they played 2 h 30
Only Rancid opened the show
In Monza I know there were other band as it was a festival but as you said they played anyway 2 h 30

Oh sweet! This is one of my local rock stations! I've been listening to them for years!

I am kind of sad that Tré described the set for Hella Mega as concise.  I don't want concise! I want to see them play for 3 hours, even after watching FOB, Weezer, and the Interupters!

I think it's new. On google there's written:

Hope someone can download.

Green Day drummer, Tre Cool, called into ALT 105.3 to chat with Dallas on Green Day Day 2020. They talked about his son's wild first birthday party, jamming (& more) with Willie Nelson, working with Butch Walker on 'Father Of All...'. They also chatted about the safety of BART & touring in the band's old Bookmobile.
