I don't like that dude but cool that he said good stuff

I have a few of Panics songs. His community he's created on twitch is super positive and friendly. Plus watching/listening to him play Fortnight is fucking hilarious.

Listening/watching Brendon Urie's twitch stream today and someone asked what he thought of the new GD album and he said it was dope.

Literally and figuratively (sorry, couldn’t resist) 😁

I just don't care for that whole movement they came out of. Includes Fall Out Boy too. I don't know how I'm gonna get through Hella Mega 😅

My plan is to enjoy Weezer's set, hit up the bathroom and the merch tent when FOB takes the stage, go back to my seat and turn on Muse on my iPhone so I can pretend they're playing instead for however long FOB have left, then enjoy GD.

Also, I have it from a very good source that as nice a guy as Brendon Urie is with his fans, he's an absolute dick to those he knows, and there's a reason he's the only member of Panic at the Disco.

My plan is to be front row at the gate, enjoy all 4 bands and have a hell of a time!

Yes! I'm super excited to see the interrupters. I was so bummed that they weren't the opener at my RevRad show.

Yeah I'm good with seeing Weezer. Not a fan of them either tbh but it makes sense that they're on the tour. They've been around since the 90's and have had some Alternative hits. I'll be happy to see a couple of their songs but I'm in no way a real fan of theirs. It's like seeing an opening act. Even when I saw AFI open for GD in '09 it was just very meh for me.

With Brendon Urie it's just not my thing musically. I don't really give a fuck who he is as a person. Just not on my radar. He made music for 15 year old catholic school girls when I was in high school. I was a kid that enjoyed his fan base but didn't enjoy  him or his music.

I also look back at what he was then and look at him now and have quite the laugh.

If Fall Out Boy's your thing, go for it. They're definitely not mine.

Same here! I love their music and Aimee has been a writer for quite some time now in the punk rock world.

I have seen The Interrupters 2 time in the same year in Quebec and Montreal. Front row. They're so fucking amazing!

Not fussed about either FOB or Weezer really but always happy to see live music and haven’t seen either before.  The Interrupters are great, wish we had them In Glasgow.  Still need to check Amly and the Sniffers though, can’t fit it in with all the GD activity!

Personally I don't care that much for FOB and I never really listened to Weezer... so here I am, wishing the Hella Mega tour was with Rise Against and Muse 😅

I'm not into FoB either but I have a pit ticket so I don't want to lose my spot by going to a bar or to the bathroom 😂

That’s what friends are for 🙂 Don’t do a pit alone

I will be with my girlfriend and she's in LOVE with Pete Wentz.... So I guess I'll stay.

She’ll hold your spot and usually people are nice and let you go in an out for short breaks. We’re gonna be in the pit through four bands and 6+ hours. Everyone will need breaks. So be cool to others and others will be cool to you.

Listen to it some more, it's a grower.

Yeah, I’ll give it another shot for sure

Why does everyone dislike Fire Ready Aim? Okay, yeah it sounds like a car commercial and has a lot of clapping but nearly every FOAM track has the clapping. FRA is a banger!

It's better than Junkies or Roof. Imho. It's faster than Junkies or Roof.

I'm serious, I'd really like to know what's so boring about FRA

For me it just doesn’t go anywhere. Everything seems very even throughout the song, and that’s totally fine, but just not really for me

Here's my top 3 as of now:

1. Sugar Youth
2. Graffitia
3. Take the Money and Crawl

It will be interesting to see how this holds up over time. There are a couple songs that I feel are just average, and for a 10 song album you would hope that every song is top notch. I don't think I will come back to this album as often as I do with Revolution Radio.

In the interviews today it sounds like they are free agents. I hope they release a few more songs soon. I’ll make a playlist and pretend the album is longer 😄

I wondered about that too, caught up on so much today I can’t remember what he said where, was it Zane Low?  It did sound like either they had renegotiated with Warner or had a new contract somewhere, he definitely seemed to suggest they had more flexibility now, or at least would have soon.

I'm so out of the loop (hi) but in short I'm digging the album, in a "more the more I listen to it" kind of way. Probably because I fell out of "love"and have been more into other stuff for ages, and therefore had zero expectations. It's got a perfect mix of feeling not particularly original (the "history or rock and roll" angle makes sense) but still fresh enough because it's a different direction for them at this point, yet once the songs stick they feel like Green Day and I can totally picture hearing the live versions in a few months (complete with hey-ohs loll). Bring it tbh

More analysis to follow probably when I inevitably get sucked back in to the GDC wormhole but for a start Meet Me On The Roof is catchy as FUCK.
