I agree, personally I enjoy FOAM and it's green day enough while showcasing the new sound, which is cool for a single, but FRA made me seriously doubt this album. I kind of like Oh Yeah, but it's still one of the weaker tracks on the album.

That's pretty fair, seeing as the "opus" refers to the composition itself, it's just a little composition as it's barely 26 minutes and most of the songs are short and sweet, not to mention the vibe of a 'product of jam sessions' that they more or less marketed FOAM as  It's a fun little opus that packs a punch in its own way

I have my own theory about how this is actually a concept album, but I am refining it and will post it later this week

RevRad was totally a concept album for me, with the two Nows holding it together. That's why Ordinary World shouldn't have been on the album, it kind of ruins the dramaturgy. And I totally agree with @HAPPY ROOTING UNICORN, I can see (or rather feel) a clear concept in FOAM too.

I definitely didn't like "Oh Yeah" at first, but it's grown on me. I really like the fact that it's such a happy, poppy song but with dark lyrics. To be honest, that song as well as the two that follow are the ones that have been consistently stuck in my head the most since listening to the record.

I feel you, I am still not a massive fan of it on the album but I enjoy it enough to sing along and try to appreciate it for what it is, as a live song though, god I don't want to be that negative nancy, but it's just a bad live song and I have no idea why the boys keep playing it live and not something like MMOTR or FRA. I think they all look super bored performing it and it sounds awful to be honest 😕

I used that quote because my answer to that question would be that Green Day made FOAM and FOAM is by Green Day, I can't put myself in a position to ask if it wasn't by Green Day, because if it wasn't by Green Day it just wouldn't be FOAM.
